Yeah. Why focus on the global warming questioners. There's all those people making money selling supplements on TV. I think those people are more harmful to society than the (perhaps misguided) questioners of global warming. At least, I think it is worth keeping an open mind about the global warming debate since the behavioral changes required are so disruptive, as they would have to be, to counter global warming (especially if we are fighting a universe-caused matter of fact). The policies which grow from managing climate change, to distributing resources are going to be important.
But the supplement leeches and the spammers should definitely be infiltrated. Of course, since those are harder to stop, we're not focusing any efforts on those;(
what i want is a mobile phone that acts as a standard mouse. Not some touch point, or touch pad, but a living breathing acceleration detecting blue tooth position sharing mouse. then, i can use the phone as the mouse, and I never have to transport a mouse with a laptop again.
but instead, all the bluetooth on phones are crippled, all the phones with accelerometers are locked, and all the "mouse" hacks involve sending the position information over the web to some web server you have to run on your computer. Why was bluetooth developed again?
I think this is the case of the media reporting some scientific findings before it went completely through the peer review process. Sounds like it still isn't decided yet.

If enough people did this, maybe those agents would get tired of doing these unconstitutional searches.
I do like Ron Paul, but please understand that he would not enforce net neutrality one way or the other. He would let the markets decide, and the telcos would clearly start charging tiered rates. The only way to prevent that economic certainty is for a disruptive company to start up and offer "old school internet".
The good thing about Ron Paul is that he would strive to get rid of any barriers to an "old school internet" that may already exist. The bad thing is that private companies may try to use patent law / intellectual property law to reinforce those barriers. And Ron Paul seems to be strongly pro-property, so it seems like he would defend AT&T's ability to do whatever they want with their phone lines, provided that the public isn't owed any money for them.
I was reading on CNET earlier (http://www.news.com/8301-10784_3-9852240-7.html), that Sharp produced an even thinner laptop that was lighter. Further, if you really want to reduce weight, the Asus EEE pc is going to be better. In terms of functionality, this computer is faster and bigger than other light laptops, although I think the hp tc1100 was a more interesting package for road warriors. This computer seems underwhelming compared to the iphone.
Yeah, hopefully the terrorists haven't been planning to attack something other than planes like they did in 1993. The only way this would work is if the TSA showed up anywhere. As in one day they were in my neighborhood. The next day they were watching a football game.
The first song I downloaded was Jimi Hendrix's version of Johnny B. Goode. I searched for that CD over a year ago and I couldn't even find it at Amazon at the time. The rest of the stuff on that album were not my cup of tea, but man that song is sweet.
Yeah, you are right. I was just planning on looking thorough the whole area until I found something suspicious and sending the coordinates. The Amazon web page certainly doesn't let you do that, but you could always call the cops or something.
But the way amazon divides the work, probably makes more sense if there are large group of people searching.
Hi, Please follow the EFF link in the article to send a letter opposing the bill to your senators and members of congress. It's very important that this law not be allowed. Thanks.
Enemies? Wake up. We're in the information age. The thing that controls these space weapons is information. We can spend all this money putting up creative technology in space, and all our enemies have to do is gather the information to control it.
My point is that we need to get rid of our enemies. And the only way to do that is to spend money on convincing our enemies that we're not their enemies at all.
I too prefer the idea of a tablet over a laptop. But the tablets I've seen are too klunky. This one looks like it could be pretty slick, knowing Apple's history.
Chrono Trigger is the reason that I haven't played an RPG (except Paper Mario, which was a little different than most RPGs) since. Even though I never actually played Chrono Trigger, my opinion was that it did everything right: no random battles to annoy you (but you could ALWAYS take the battle to level up if you wanted), great soundtrack, interesting story. I hear that it may have been a tad on the easy side. I feel like every RPG since then should have started on that foundation and built from that. But no. I've had virtually no motivation whatsoever to play any of the RPGs since that sucky game came out in 1995.
Good thing Columbus didn't listen to you.

I guess you've never seen the tv out feature that normally comes with nokia phones.
I second the brazil comment.

Isn't that what Batman's parents did?

Is this the return of John Katz?

Imagine if some terrorist organization hacked into the communications channel to something like 'Rods of God' and fired at will on America?
What am I thinking? It's not like the terrorists would ever think of using our own technology against us.
when I tried kudzu, it said that my brain appeared to have been removed. Would I want to:
Remove Configuration, Keep Configuration, or Do Nothing

Yeah, this article was totally a troll.
How about we download the content and upload it to freenet?
