  1. Unexpected Patterns of Diagonal Lines on Prime Numbers Not So Random? · · Score: 2, Informative

    Don't forget the Prime Spiral.

This construction was first made by Polish-American mathematician Stanislaw Ulam (1909-1986) in 1963 while doodling during a boring talk at a scientific meeting. While drawing a grid of lines, he decided to number the intersections according to a spiral pattern, and then began circling the numbers in the spiral that were primes. Surprisingly, the circled primes appeared to fall along a number of diagonal straight lines or, in Ulam's slightly more formal prose, it "appears to exhibit a strongly nonrandom appearance"

  17. CHRISTIAN ROCK on Airport Security vs. Cyborg Steve Mann · · Score: -1

For thirty years we have suffered intense persecution. Now freedom is bringing another great harm to our churches. This damage is coming from Christians in America who are sending rock music and evangelists accompanied by rock bands. Our young people do not attend those meetings because we have all committed not to participate in secular entertainment.

This is a great burden to our hearts. Many come with Bible in hand and rock music. We are embarrassed by this image of Christianity. We do not know what words to use in urging that this be stopped. We abhor all Christian rock music coming to our country.

Rock music has nothing in common with ministry or the service to God. We are very much against Christian Americans bringing to our country this false image of "ministry" to God. We need spiritual bread... not false cakes. It is true that rock music attracts people to the church, but not to Godly living.

We were in prison for fifteen years for Christ's sake. We were not allowed to have Christian music, but ROCK MUSIC was used as a weapon against us day and night to destroy our souls.

We could only resist with much prayer.

Now, we have a time of more openness. We are no longer taken to prison. However, now it is Christians from America who damage our souls. We do not allow this music in our church, but these "evangelist" rent big stadiums and infect teenagers and adults with their rock music. We, the leadership and congregations of the Unregistered churches urge you to join with us, and we advise you to remove rock music from America.

Do not desecrate our teenagers with it. Even the unbelievers recognize it is unholy music. We call this music, "music from hell." We urge all Americans to stop giving money for the organizations of such concerts in Russia. We only want traditional Christian music in our churches.

This is the unanimous decision of all our leaders.

Can A Christian Be Demon Possessed?

    Pat Robertson answers:
People disagree over whether or not a Christian can be demon possessed.

I recall an incident from my own life when I was staying in a motel near Seattle,
Washington. One morning, when I was in that stage between sleep and waking,
an awful depression seized me. I felt that everyone was against me, that people
around me were failing, and that everything I was doing was falling to pieces.
Discouragement overwhelmed me like a dark cloud.

As I struggled to wake up, I realized I was under demonic attack. I immediately
took control over it and said, "Satan, in the name of Jesus, I cast you
forth." The minute I said that, my mind was free and my despair was gone.
I realized later that the Seattle-Tacoma area led the nation in suicides. The
spirit that was coming upon me was a suicidal spirit, the sort of influence
that would lead to such depression that a person would wish to kill himself.
I was in an area where many had been gripped by this kind of demon.

Had I not recognized what I was dealing with, I could have gone into a very
deep depression that would have been hard to get out of. Even Spirit-filled
Christians are subject to this kind of demonic influence upon their minds or
    in their bodies.

However, I believe that if our spirits are joined to Jesus Christ, there is
no way a demon can possess them. We have given our spirits to the Holy Spirit
who keeps them safe. He is stronger than demons (see I John 4:4, Revelation
12:11). So I believe it would be impossible for a Christian to be possessed
in his spirit by a demon.

What Does The Bible Say About Homosexuality?

Pat Robertson:The Bible says that it is an abomination for a man to lie with a man as with a woman, or a woman to lie with a woman as with a man (see Leviticus 18:22, 20:13). The Bible says that because of certain abominations such as homosexuality, a land will vomit out its inhabitants (see Leviticus 18:25). The apostle Paul called it "shameful," the result of being given up by God to "vile passions" (see Romans 1:24-27).

In the Old Testament, those who practiced these things were removed from the congregation of Israel by execution. We are told in the New Testament that those who practice homosexuality will not enter the Kingdom of God (see I Corinthians 6:9-10). The apostle Paul, in the book of Romans, indicates that homosexuality is the result of the final rebellion of people against God. He says that when people exchange the truth of God for a lie, and begin to worship the creature instead of the Creator, they are given up to evil. At a moment in society when values are turned upside down and moral anarchy appears, men burn with lust for other men and women burn for women, and they will receive in their own bodies the punishment for their actions (see Romans 1:22-27).

From a biblical standpoint, the rise of homosexuality is a sign that a society is in the last stages
