That's Fucking AMAZING! all these asshats whining but as typical with slashdot none do anything about it. Just another small piece in the puzzle that when assembled proves that the vast majority of slashot readers are really running pirated copies of Windows ME because they can't install Redhat.

This is an intelictually intersting exercise. I suppose the idiots that have no business doing this sort of thing will diswaded by the soldering and cabling requirements. The really persistant dumbasses will have their ISP cut off their service when they violate their terms of service.

But the thing that really comes to my attention is:Never leave debug code in production firmware. Proves I haven't been paranoid for no reason these years!

I don't make myself available to advertisers. I don't have a TV, I don't fill out sweepstakes entries, I don't read postal mail not addressed to me, I don't read spam. I don't tolerate having my "Friends" subject me to advertising. That's the real point.

It has little to do with the reality of the iPod, or the cost of the iPod. But has everything to do with the offensiveness of the distribution mechanism.

Which is why I systematically 'Foe' everyone I see hawking ponzi-pods.
