I had a similar problem. A friend of mine wanted to change the resolution of the screen. And he is not afraid of computers or anything like that.
So I told him to right-click on the desktop and select properties. - What's a desktop - It's the thing with the background image and the icons. You know, My Computer etc. - Where? - Minimize all the windows - how? - Okay, just press Windows-button-D, now right-click on an empty spot.
From there it was fairly easy. I've also had to explain to my father what the desktop means. For some reason the term isn't very intuitive to people.
It also blocks Opera that has been told to identify as IE. To fix that, you should also check that the user agent string doesn't contain the word "Opera."
Opera always adds that to the user-agent string, even when it is told to identify as another browser.
The different shaped buttons on the GC controller are great. You have the big round "primary" botton, and a smaller "secondary" button. Then you have X, Y and Z in the direction of the corresponding axis.
The dpad on the cube is crappy, I like the PS2 one much better. Don't know about the XBox controller, don't have one.
Yeah, people keep saying that. But can you honestly name one game, that has been widely considered good (and/or has been successful), and doesn't have good gameplay?
My procedure if the site doesn't work is this: 1) Put referrer logging on test 2) Disable Privoxy test 3) Tell Opera to fake its user-agent string as IE (and emulate some IE-specific javascript functionality). test
Use Mozilla until you run into a page that doesn't work. Then copy the address, open IE and use it while on that page. That's what I do with Opera. And really, there aren't that many pages that simply refuse to work with anything but IE.
PS, AFAIK, forces you to perform them on the entire image.
Activate the layer you want to flip. Select some selection tool. Click the right mouse button over the image. Select "free transform". Right-click again, select flip or rotate.
I'm with you on this one. Other people install no software without my permission. It doesn't matter what the program does, if you don't get my permission before you install, I will kick your ass.
Well how about a way to duplicate the current window, like in Opera, for example. "New window" opens a new, fresh window, and "duplicate window" opens a duplicate window.
Rottentomatoes.com "gives" Fahrenheit 9/11 75% at the moment http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/Fahrenheit911-1000 4132/
Why is everything caffeinated worshipped on Slashdot?
Try Opera for mobile devices.

I tend to middle-click links to open them in tabs in the background, then open those tabs when I'm ready and close them with ctrl-W.
You can do exactly that in Opera.
But sending spam is hardly the same as having sex with children, is it?

In case you hadn't heard, http://www.filerush.com/ has torrents of a lot of interesting E3-videos.
I sort of hate it too. It is my thing, I just think that its fans are bad people.

I'm mirroring the bigger images here as soon as I get them.

If nothing works, I try IE.
I guess we surf different parts of the web then, since I haven't had to use IE for weeks.

I usually play one game at a time, so I would take the system that has the game I'm currently playing.
But on average, Apache admins know more about maintaining a machine than the average Windows user.
"Houston, we have a problem!"
I'm sure he hasn't heard that one before.
Never knew that geeks can have such a sense of humor. ---NOT!
When you are flaming other people's lack of wit, you might want to avoid using "...NOT!"-jokes.
It's = it is/it has.
Luxury! I have a lump of cold poison for a firewall.
