I would have bought the generic one, since it costs usually about 30% less than a brand name that spent that 30% on useless advertising. But that's just me.

Um no, that's not a good analogy at all, because you haven't bought the candy bar. The better analogy is that people all around you are stealing candy bars, but because you bought one, he puts a GPS tracker on you and takes down all your information to make sure you're not giving the candy bar to anyone else.

  12. "Defies the laws of physics" on Blast-Proof Fabric Resists Multiple Explosions · · Score: 4, Insightful

I really hate that saying. It makes it sound like physics is a religion, where scientists have decided "that's how things work, and that's that" - which is ridiculous. If something "defies" physics, then the laws of physics change to accommodate reality. That's how science works - it comes about based on observation.

Nothing can defy the laws of physics - because physics describes how things work.

Why is that hard to understand? You'd trust a mechanic to talk about cars but if he says that vaccines don't work - why should you believe him?

How about the 6 day war? Haven't seen any games on that one. Play as the arab alliance, see if you can win.

Or what about Gulf War II? Starts out as a war game, morphs into a military/city strategy game. A cross between command and conquer and simcity2000. See if you can stabilize Iraq before it can happen in real life.

Nothing about this one makes any sense. The parents are acting way too nonchalant about his return. They don't seem to want to know what happened. Maybe they're in shock. And this kid has a lip piercing - who did that? Was it a home piercing? If it was done professionally, they're required to get parental approval - how did that get faked?
