Surely, being a 2D game with much work offloaded to the clients (the asian players are usually more honest than americans), it reduces the mentainance costs, allowing the game to be generally free.
I don't know what pipe your smoking out of, but in every MMORPG I've played the asian players (or "AZN" as they like to call themselves) are definately NOT more honest than Americans. Quite the contrary.
In the MMORPG Lineage 2, for example, many of the asians from China, Korea, etc. all use hacks and cheats. In MMORPGs the most common types are macros and bots which automatically do things like kill the "goblins" and "lizardmen" and horde the digital cash. This is later sold on ebay. This is in fact the biggest complaint from many of the players I've met while playing.
Not only are these foreign players trying to make a quick buck on American servers, but they often time are hostile and aggressive to American players. They camp the areas with the best monsters, have players that are nearly "maxed out" so only organzied teams can effectively challenge them, and usually taunt American players in their native language (rang rang, anyone?). None of this wouldn't nearly be as bad if they were willing to cooperate, but alas, many don't even speak English.
Being an account holder of Lineage 2 I will say that I do enjoy playing it, however it has turned into a huge chore of consistenly leveling a character. The environment is very immersive with great detail put into the scenary and is a good hook for the new player.
What made me start losing interset in Lineage II? Well, the pseudo-economy has basicly become run by chinese "businesses" as they have the equivalent of sweatshops but with chinese players "farming" items and Adena(money) all day. This has raised the prices of all weapons/goods because of the inflated prices and because people are stupid enough to actually buy the shit off ebay. Read: either buy Adena off ebay or you play * 2 as much for the equivalent items.
The biggest problem with MMORPGs is they change from being entertainment into the hideous beast of another job. The person who "fixes" that in the next MMORPG will be rich.
The only benefit I see to letting lower class have internet access in their homes is that they have greater access to information for things like school reports and homework. However, considering almost every school in the US has a decent connection to the internet, not to mention libraries give you public internet access as well, the money spent here could be much better spent on other things.
Seriously, mod this up. The US is on it's knees to keep every ethniticity happy (thank you liberals), and yet, Indian firms won't hire Americans. What is wrong with this picture? At this rate, we will be 3rd world in no time.

Yup, I am a junior (17 years old) in hs and I'm taking the fourth semester of CCNA. I think bringing in the Cisco courses is the best move my city's school system has made. However, most students have dropped the class from year one to year two. Initially there were 25 taking the course, and as of now there are 3. I'm pretty sure these statistics are the same for the rest of my city.
If you want to hear some unique sounds, check out Overclocked Remix. This is a growing community of enthusiasts who remix original game soundtracks, sometimes creating stuff far better then the original. They have many varieties of remixes that would fall under the categories of techno, industrial, and jazz. Tons of talent there, definately worth checking out.
You do not need a $400 piece of equipment to skip ads. HELLO, ITS CALLED A VCR!!! Not only can you fast forward through ads ads, you can record shows that you normally wouldn't have time to see in your schedule!! Amazing what old technology can do, huh?
This article is a fake.

Actually, according to a recent analysis of MMORPG subscription growth, Lineage II seems to have taken a decent chunk of the EQ junkies.
