You do know that i have to keep resizing the fonts to read the text in that awful format, because i don't use a platform/browser/font size/screen resolution you have tested with?
Very nice looking in theory, completely unreadable, and fucking annoying.
And what's with that annoying break in the middle? I have adblock installed for a reason, you know?
From RFC2616:
"... If
and only if the media type is not given by a Content-Type field, the
recipient MAY attempt to guess the media type via inspection of its
content and/or the name extension(s) of the URI used to identify the
resource."
I've used a similar design from the Commodore 64: a ball-grip joystick with a single button on the base (actually there were two, but they did the same thing.)
"Accompany it with the complete corresponding machine-readable source code, which must be distributed under the terms of Sections 1 and 2 above on a medium customarily used for software interchange"
The list of valid link types does not include "Nofollow", but "Authors may wish to define additional link types not described in this specification. If they do so, they should use a profile to cite the conventions used to define the link types."
It isn't just as simple as that, see http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AVvZP2av5Mk
You're correct that "Effect" is a verb, as well as a noun. No one is denying that. However, it does not mean the same as "Affect".
From dictionary.com:
effect (verb): to produce as an effect; bring about; accomplish; make happen
affect (verb): to act on; produce an effect or change in
Or as i like to put it:
The effect (noun) of affecting (verb) something is to effect (verb) a change in it.
The media control buttons on my Logitech wireless keyboard work just fine in my installation Debian Linux, without any configuration on my part.
It presented examples in Smalltalk and C++.
Rocket Propelled Grenade.
Anyone not using version control deserves what they get.
Seriously, you have a whole team working on one copy of the code, and your solution is daily backups?
Just install Subversion or some other nice version control system, and do daily backups of the repository instead.
Well, that's PHP for you.
You can't really say PHP is better than Perl.
See http://tnx.nl/php for a great comparison.
Actually electricity does cut off if you use too much of it. That's what fuses are for, for example.
He means "peddling wares".
Original BSD license or Revised BSD license? ;)
Actually Wine is close to overtaking Cedega in DX and D3D support, if they haven't already. Many games work better in Wine than in Cedega.

Please fix, thanks.
It's written in PHP, so it's to be expected.
There's already a remake of Skool Daze, called "Klass of 99", but it's a straight remake, which i suspect is not the kind you had in mind?
Note that www.opensourcecms.com ONLY lists CMSes based on PHP/MySQL.
There are many good F/OSS CMSes that aren't based on PHP, and probably some that don't run on MySQL.

A horseless carriage doesn't move by itself.
I think that's the "auto" part of "automobile".
I think you mean the TAC-2, right?
I saw this a while back:0 43

The gist of it is that while free as in beer" is important, vendor independence is even more so.
Their 404 page is more interesting. :)
How about a button that says "Please don't press this button."?
So, what are you doing to make a difference?
Section 3a of the GPL:

Emphasis mine.
