    You're correct that "Effect" is a verb, as well as a noun. No one is denying that. However, it does not mean the same as "Affect".

    From dictionary.com:

    effect (verb): to produce as an effect; bring about; accomplish; make happen
    affect (verb): to act on; produce an effect or change in

    Or as i like to put it:

    The effect (noun) of affecting (verb) something is to effect (verb) a change in it.

    Seriously, you have a whole team working on one copy of the code, and your solution is daily backups?

    Just install Subversion or some other nice version control system, and do daily backups of the repository instead.

    Actually Wine is close to overtaking Cedega in DX and D3D support, if they haven't already. Many games work better in Wine than in Cedega.

    You do know that i have to keep resizing the fonts to read the text in that awful format, because i don't use a platform/browser/font size/screen resolution you have tested with?

    Very nice looking in theory, completely unreadable, and fucking annoying.

    And what's with that annoying break in the middle? I have adblock installed for a reason, you know?

    Note that www.opensourcecms.com ONLY lists CMSes based on PHP/MySQL.

    There are many good F/OSS CMSes that aren't based on PHP, and probably some that don't run on MySQL.

    I've used a similar design from the Commodore 64: a ball-grip joystick with a single button on the base (actually there were two, but they did the same thing.)

    I think you mean the TAC-2, right?

    The list of valid link types does not include "Nofollow", but "Authors may wish to define additional link types not described in this specification. If they do so, they should use a profile to cite the conventions used to define the link types."
