There is no way this is true that you will get a ticket for going the speed limit. Do you have some source for this? Everything I see says the opposite but can't find a great source.
“A vehicle driving in the left lane of a multi-lane highway slower than other traffic, but at the speed limit, is not in violation of the law,” says Erin Komatsubara, a public information officer for the CHP. Vehicles passing on the right of a left-lane driver who is at the speed limit would be violating the speed limit, Komatsubara says. http://www.autoinsurancecenter...
I think a big part that people overlook when talking about the simplification of WoW, is that WoW was always going for the simplification of MMOs. If you look back what pre-dated WoW (EQ, DAoC, UO), WoW took the basic game and simplified and polished it dramatically, big EQ fans complained back then that WoW was dumbing down the MMO genre which arguably they did. The trend of gaming in general wanted less time sinks and greater accessibility. WoW didn't only recently start "catering to the casuals" That's been their MO since day 1 vanilla.
You mean the same episode where it showed being tired or distracted by cell phones or anything else were actually significantly more impairing than the alcohol? I don't think we should get rid of drunk driving laws by any stretch of the imagination. However, there are already plenty of distracted/reckless driver laws that exist. I just don't see the a need to create specific laws for every single possible way someone can increase their danger while driving.
Bioware/EA had no control. But Lucas Arts certainly did. It has been confirmed the only reason SWG closed was because Lucas didn't want to extend the license and have 2 Star Wars MMOs at the same time.
Good luck using that character editor on a Battle.net character. Having built in character respecs is needed. 3rd party hacking tools don't cut it. I do hear this has actually changed in a recent D2 patch, but I havn't played in a good 2 years myself.
He's saying they might not like the disincentive of paying more for electricity so much, they will take their business to another state. Causing a loss in tax revenue in the process of course.
Yes, you will still be able to plan with your friends on the same LAN network as long as it is routed to the internet. The packets will most likely be routed through BNet servers over a custom game. Just like you could do in D2. The only thing that is gone will be a no true LAN game where the connection doesn't authenticate and route over the internet to a BNet server.
That isn't exactly right though. You are searching for an exact phrase not all sites that contain all of those words but not necessarily right next to each other.
That is totally fine though, the ratings arn't to prohibit minors from playing these games 100% of the times. It's for the kids to actually have to ask their parent and the parents to be involved in the loop. If the parents don't care, or find it completly acceptable which I'm sure some M games might even be for a 16/17 year old then the rating system has still succeeded. The parents might have still failed though.
My wife got one today the same way, showed up at 5:00am and line was only 7 strong. Our store in the middle of nowhere got 23 in, maybe she should have stuck it out they probably had more than 15+ units for sale.
Walmart has had those units in for days (I think 10 here) they just had to wait to sell them since they advertised in their circular ad (effective today) that they have some.
I too find it quite painfull to use IE these days. Not because of rendering or anything along those lines, simply because of the lack of tabular browsing and popup killing. I have been using Crazy Browser for a while now, which isn't really anything except for a new front end on IE with tabs and popup killing. I love it for the windows world, still loads fast cause it can take advantage of the so called IE cheats.
The crazybrowser.com site seems to be down but if anyone cares to check it out: http://www.webattack.com/get/crazybrowser.sh tml
ghostview is for windows as well. I would assume it would display PDF for windows as well as linux. Never actually used it myself, acrobat suits my limited PDF viewing needs.
Ok I see a lot of people seeing this as a very bad thing, but I'm not so sure. The fact is the Korean government broke some international buisness laws and without that, Hynix would already be out of buisness.
Hopefully this trend will continue so places where they pay their workers $5 a day or give huge illegal donations to a dying company will end so not all our American tech companies don't leave the US. I have seen a disturbing trend in companies leaving the US to take advantage of other countrys less strick workers benifits and rights.
Although I might just be totally biased as I used to live in Boise and have many friends who work at Micron, although Samsung is more than enough competition left for Micron in the dram industry.
The problem with your IE is that your using a Mac, get a PC problem solved!
Also Netscape lost the war, not the battle the war. They are not dead, but they are gathering their wounded and heading home in a hummiliating defeat because the were on top for a long time.
I read all the negative comments to this one, and I partially agree with them. But I found germanbirdman's post excelent. Well it made me laugh at least so I am gonna give at least a slightly positive comment.
I noticed that some of you said, to be a good programmer you have to be creative and so there!!! Umm... just because someone is creative doesn't make then not technical. You say creative == artistic and technical != artistic... hmm. That is at least as bad of a sterotype as he just made. And I agree with him to a point.
Next argument, architects are both creative and technicall, yes but no. When an arc, designes a building people don't just go, looks good to me let's build it. A whole team of engineers analyze it and say make this floor an inch thicker concrete and this steel beem needs to be two. Very, Very, Very few architects actually have much if any real engineering background. But then again some do... and what are these rare speciments. Well they are both technically and artistically encliened, but wait I thought that was impossible. It's not as simple as that.
Home Audio Recording Act of '92 look it up. I did a long time ago. Although I hear the digital millenium act sorta contridicts it, but I believe it is still legal to make a copy of a cd and give it to a friend. And if not don't tell me differently.
Who cares if someone buys an item online? I don't. There is no chance in hell I would ever buy one. It is a total waste of money and defeats the point of playing in my opionion. But if your into that sorta thing, go for it.
Ask yourself why you care if someone as you call it "cheat" and buy items. Is it becasue you are jelous of their item? Are you jelous of the snotty rich kid who had that corvette given to him when he was 16? Maybe a little, but not really. You know he did nothing to earn it and know when you get enough money to buy your own car, it will mean way more to you then it ever does to him.

SWTOR killed SWG period.

I have had this problem as well. I have found a work around and have never had any problems with my shortcuts after doing so.
Put the application you want to run as a shortcut in the start menu somewhere (doesn't matter where) and setup your keyboard shortcut from there.
Good luck.

That doesn't include a NVidia G-force 3 though

So true.
No that just means Netscape sucks. Which I think anyone who has ever developed web stuff will agree.
Who cares if someone buys an item online? I don't. There is no chance in hell I would ever buy one. It is a total waste of money and defeats the point of playing in my opionion. But if your into that sorta thing, go for it.

But that's what I think.
