    With the exception of the now defunct Saturn. I'm convinced they gave Saturn the axe because it made all the other divisions look bad. Love my indestructible Saturn commuter car...

    ^This! My Saturn has lasted twice as long and nearly twice the miles than any other car I've had. And still going strong.

    I wouldn't mind joining a social network with my work email, and posting work-related stuff. I WOULD object to joining with my personal account with all the non-work stuff and wondering if I unfriended/deleted that old HS guy that posted racist stuff before the boss saw it.

    Agreed. I have little interest in watching sausage being made (I don't view source code either). But if the sausage maker is putting pig poo in their product, it would be nice if SOMEONE was watching them.

    Because Google offered 10x the storage and 1/1,000,000 of the spam of the competition at the time. Of course hotmail, and yahoo bumped their storage, but that was after gmail was cleaning their clocks.

    Considering that most astronauts are healthier than average, and considering that gravity is much lower (1/6 on the moon, IIRC 1/3 on Mars) than Earth, I doubt there will be many hip fractures.

    As far as I'm concerned, if I can take it to the grocery store and buy coke & chips, it's "real". That would include the proper green paper, various sizes of coins, and plastic cards with magnetic strips. And exclude Bitcoins, Linden bucks, and whatever this "Poke" stuff uses for money.

    Well, shortly before I left DeVry, one of my classmates, who had already started on her first job, told me about ALTER in COBOL, and beyond using language that I don't normally hear from females, she advised me not to to use it. So, JS isn't the only language with parts that shouldn't be used.

    I have an iPhone 4, with no trailing letter, and it normally goes 2+ days without a charge, even with iOS 5. I did notice that location based stuff seems to drain the battery faster.

    Yup! One of my passwords was assigned to me and was a random bunch of letters & numbers (not even any special characters), and I just copypasted from a spreadsheet. I could probably remember 2 characters out of 8.

    I often have to look at a (hopefully up to date) spreadsheet for my passwords, especially for stuff that I only access occasionally. If someone asks for a pw when I can't access the spreadsheet, I'm probably SOL.

    Even before Iowa, people were claiming Romney was "electable". WTF? Why is a guy who couldn't beat a 100 year old loser in 2008 "electable"? More important, when has the "electable" candidate actually WON?? McCain was electable, and so was Bob Dole. On the other side, John Kerry was electable, and I'm pretty sure Hilary was more electable than an unknown 2 year Senator with a foriegn name.
