The kindle app shows you popular passages that other people highlighted, it only takes half a brain to realize that for this feature they must be storing your and everybody else's highlights.. Seriously.. Just to mess them them up I am highlighting every mistake they make in the OCR process. I am sick to sec those scanning mistakes.

Right, so use a _stupid_ technical control to fix a people problem. How will your blocked thumb drive stop people from sending that data via an email or a site ? I know, maybe your department should stop people sending emails ! That'll keep it from happening again !
A 10 story building in NYC is still going to be way more expensive than 100 acres out in nowheresville, Kansas, isn't it? Until Scotty 'Beam Me Up' gets born, you'll still need to use resources to get that salad from Nowheresville to NYC. You will also need to gas up your equipment to sow and harvest, buy pesticides and cry when bad weather just ruined your crops. So I am not so sure how 'cheap' those acres in Kansas are.
Note that the EU _does_ allow for comparative advertising, so you can expect Google to knock on the door of the EU and this decision should become overruled.
that is quite a rash mail. SAP implementations are expensive because good SAP consultans are rare and thus cost.
I have personally been in upgrade projects from SAP 3.1 to SAP 4.6C ( age difference of 6/7 years ). And it worked almost perfectly.
So please dont say that no commercial product has this kind of lifeitem/backward compatibility.
Also, SAP interfaces dont 'break' and are easy to change. Easy is of course relative, it might cost you 5 days of development which costs now about 1000 Euro ( dollar is slightly lower than euro ).
how can you know that your technology is inside a processor ? Or what if a company decides to just use it 1 year in Asia, you didnt stop that, it's too late. There goes your patent through the window.
Thanks, looks really great, if I had karma, I would vote you up.
Oh come on..

You mean 'last years crappy commercials' are projected directly into their minds.

I am sure even the government ( especially the government ? ) does write-offs ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Write-off#Accounting ) over 3 to 4 years for a laptop.

Eclipse feels just as fast on my Mac Mini than on my fancy new AMD machine and everything is just nicer.
So the AMD machine is gathering dust while the Mac Mini is doing the grunt work.

In Belgium, the companies that block you from joining other companies have to pay you for this.
And they can't block you longer than 6 months.

US Laws work on companies that trade/deal with the US. EU laws work on companies that deal with the EU.

Any half decent support system ghosts NT 4 and puts that on new machines. With a license that goes for the whole factory/business unit whatever.
USB is a problem, but there are still plenty of Asian companies making non-USB hardware.
I have a lot more issues with Explorer and NT 4.
