I'm really happy with mozilla 1.0 but also disapointed because one of the primary promises of Mozilla(in the post Comunicator 4 age) was that it sould run faster. Now, it does not run faster because it use more memory and because of all the XPE(wheel reinvented) stuff.
Anyway, still want to drink some beer in the name of Mozilla 1.0
I think 7.3 is a good numbering strategy. Because it is basically a kernel & programs update. Is not a big change like going from kernel 2.2 to 2.4. Also, I wonder what SuSE and Mandrake will do when they release version 10 en 1,5 years:-) Should they start from 1.0 again? Or go for the HPUX way?
I started not to look at GS for PC Games reviews after reading the review for RTCW. Seems to me that GS is more focused on Console Games. And the people that review PCGames and VideoGames does not have the same criteria when isuing the final Score for a game.
I can't imagine why GS does not talk about the kick and the 'hand' in RTCW. No other modern(2001-2002) game has this very usefull features.
Anyway, I only GS now for downloading demos with wget. I that point of view is really usefull.
For news a Reviews there is always bluesnews and GameSpy(with all that Casino ad)
I have never tryied Win2k until 2001, was too busy in Linux.
But now, with XP, I encourage every Linux Fan to try WinXP and see the Desktop difference between Win9x/2k and WinXP, its a giant leap!
I feel more relief now that the attack have been started.
We donçt have to wait no more every day for the attacks to start.
And I hope the retaliation ends soon.
I thing that this must be the reason.
You can play Giants even if you have a Geforce3 or a Riva 128.
Also as Cliff mentioned, regular releases of DirectX make you fell that this thing is evolutioning and that you always have a "better" version.
The question is: Will Quake IV use DirectX or OpenGL?
I mean:
the fisshing light, must be pointed to the see, not the sky.
Can a couple of ship really generate more light polution that the biggest city of Argentina and Brazil together?
I don't think so. But, the light is on the map, what can we do?:-)
Seems a little imposible for me this solution.
Look at the density, this region is generating more light than BuenosAires or SaoPaulo.
Also, the fisshing light, must be pointed to the see, not the ocean.
What else could it be?
Hope the people at.it could explain it...

This should be the 1.0 release, but instead we got RC2. I hope that the 12-june party is still on the roadmap.
