    Actually, proving you wrong is very easy. Here's your proof!
    On that page you can see a photo of a piece of paper folded 11 times, and a discussion of all the math and physics involved.

    The "internet" is any set of networks connected with routers. The "Internet" is the largest such network, that uses TCP/IP.

    Correction: it is believed that perfect play leads to a draw. It has not been proven.

    For a single game, yes; but for a match of 8 games, where players alternate colours, perfect game will always result in a tie, no matter what it is.

    Anyway, I have a copy of Deep Fritz--the same program Kramnik is playing against. It's a comercially available chess program, designed to run on multiple processor computers. If you have a spare 90USD lying around, pick up a copy. It's a brutally strong program.     I'm curious - why did you buy it? How is it fun to play against a machine that's so strong you can't possibly win?

    Unfortunately this method of "decryption" requires MS reader to be installed on your system. Which isn't possible when you're running Linux.

    It's nice as "proof of concept" (although it's by no means new - I have seen a program that gets the contents of MS Reader files more intelligently, by automatically copying-and-pasting every page), but it won't help you to read a .lit file on Linux.

    This, I think, is nearly enough for a proof that dvorak owns.

    950

    $ egrep '^[asdfghjkl]*$' /usr/dict/words | wc -l
    58

    I.e. 950 words (including such words as "a", "the", "this", "that", "those", "I", etc) can be typed on Dvorak without moving the fingers from the home row. And only 58 on QWERTY.

    Don't forget that Gentoo Linux runs on PPC. Gentoo is an excellent, modern Linux distribution with a package system similar to portage. It has been reviewed a few times on /. and is quickly gaining popularity.
