No, but in Australia it can be heritage listed, and then he can never renovate again!
At least the ESRB are semi consistant with their criteria for ratings... the Aussie censors change depending on the mood. I remember GTA3 and VC being blocked in Aus because it contained hookers... however SA came out with the hookers still intact! Make up your minds people!!!!
you're still just guessing how close you are to hitting the mat
So, knowing how close you are to hitting the mat is going to make you fight better? or reduce the chances of you hitting that mat? I suggest that maybe you should fight good enough so you arent about to be KO'd for the entire match, and not just when you're about to drop!;-)
Not that I'm experienced in real fights, but I know that with alcohol consumption, you dont know that you've hit the floor until you've woken up. perhaps the suprise of being knocked down could be considered more realistic?
Snowboarding, the last thing I need is a screen, or to have to pull it out of my waterproof pocket to look at the thing to change songs. Being able to leave the TINY stick in my pocket and do everything by feel is far safer than dropping a Nano into the snow. plus the shuffle came with a splash proof sports cover too, so its double covered!
This phenomenon of people running to the latest and greatest new fad is explained in one of the recent family guy episodes: S5E8 - The Father, The Son, and The Holy Fonz.
If its new, they'll run to it, until something newer comes out, then they run to that!
Actually, they do own the physical media, and they own a copy of the software
Yes, but do you truely OWN it? or are you leasing it indefinately for the initial fixed price? There are some that believe the latter to be true.
By the time you successfully print the 22TB of data, you would no doubt pass the 10 month threshold for the double sized growth. Once you start printing, you'd never stop!
then again, a new challenge for Epson/HP etc... develop a printer that is robust enough to print a paper mount everest!
I have the Thecus N4100. 4x 400GB SATA Drives, RAID5, 1.2TB Storage space. and now that seagate have the 500GB Drives, I may have to upgrade to 1.5TB RAID5! hehe.. only issues with it, and I'm not the only one who thinks so, is that the data tranfser is slow. doesn't even utilise a 100Mb NIC let alone the Gb NIC it has in it. And that it doesn't have removable & redundant PSU's
I thought that maybe the faster the drive spin, the faster it would wear down. Like doing a burnout in your car, the faster the wheels, the more rubber you leave behind. Or like petrol, the higher your revs the quicker you run out of fuel.
as my mind has already thought of an analogy for the case that less is more, can anyone think of one to prove otherwise for me?
My question with the 7,200 RPM... is the recommendation to use the faster drive? as in, not use the 5,400 RPM drives? or is he suggesting a slower drive? as in, not use the 10,000 RPM drives?
Sweet! Now I can store the 9.1GB DVD ISO's for people to download off my 33.6k Modem connected webserver!!
;-)
But seriously, the timing of this feature being added couldn't be better, 5 years ago there would've been no point, but with the current rate of speed increases in home Internet, it will become somewhat more useful!
Yes, numbers are hard to give to people... but serves you right for not signing on early!:-P... also, you could always have given people your email address and they could find you using the ICQ search option... another item included sice 97
No, more like, getting fined because you left your house unlocked and suddenly all your neighbours started getting viagra brochures in their mail boxes, your house was used to travel to another house to commit some kind of illegal act, for some reason the water pressure in your pipes drop, and you've got hidden camera's installed in all your rooms! also it seems the front door and was left without a finger print!!!

C'mon Apple, how US-Centric are you?...

...of which, 90 will be licensed EXCLUSIVE to EA, so that no one else can make games of that sport

Agreed.

I've seen more dead HDD's than backup tapes, and have seen 60 times as many backup tapes than HDD's...
and last time I checked, an Ultrium 3 tape was half the price of a 400GB Drive.
I wouldn't use disks for backup, unless they're to be used as live backups, and then I'd still archive to tape (provided it was affordable).

or, print it Duplex and you're only 1.25 the size of everest!
I wanna see someone print it in booklet format, then try and fold the edge!
Printing would be an issue in itself,

The link to the Firmware upgrades isn't available on the website. You have to email them to source it (which I am waiting for at the moment)
As for the speed... Firmware wont fix "Intel's Xscale IOP80219 chip is too slow for the XOR calculations of a RAID 5 array." but I am attempting to source the upgrades none the less

I guess you could always substitute Quality, with Stability / Robustness
Here's hoping patch creators these days have learned from sony's rootkit disaster and, if needed, there IS capability to roll it back! ;-) ;-)
Lucky its only PGR3 and not Grand Theft Auto 3!
Or... A Chameleon tank that is colored as follows:
Black & White cammo' paint for cold conditions (Snow)
Greens & Browns for tropical (humid) conditions
Orange and Yellows for desert (Hot & Dry) conditions
