Sony makes money on the consoles as well now... strange that the exploits suddenly appear just as they start making money on the hardware... Now people like me are buying another one, just to have one exploited, and one unexploited - just in case!
No doubt it is a better value in those magical parts of the country that I keep hearing about on Slashdot where they pay only $0.10/kwh..
Not only is power cheaper than the $0.10/kwh here (and mostly clean), but the cost of a gasoline car including taxes is 2-3 times the amount in US minimum.
We welcome cheap electric cars any day!
Yet nobody's in prison for negligent manslaughter. But if I'm not paying attention and run over a single person, I go to prison. Must be nice to be so rich you're above the law.
Since it all started at the bottom of the sea with the concrete, and that was a US company, they can't stuff a Brit in prison without doing the same to a couple of American companies as well.
Don't think you've seen the flight attendants on SAS flights - they're all 50+... It's probably where the other flight attendants go before they die...
I've worked on the safety system of some major rigs in the Norwegian sections of the North Sea and I cannot see how this could happen if proper procedures and sane safety systems were in place...
That's because the North Sea has a totally different level of safety than GOM. In GOM they use cheap "cowboy companies" to get the job done, and the ones with the best safety ratings are too expensive.
We've already spent billions getting it up there, why not recycle it? Create a recycling station in orbit. There's probably enough material to create something nice that would benefit the entire world. If this is organised by UN or something similar, give the governments with secret stuff up there 5 years to get rid of it, and if they do, whatever can be captured, belongs to the recycle station. Let's call it IRS - International Recycling Station!
Wait until PS3 emulates 360! ;o)

Yeah - the real story is how NRK is abusing their temp-workers. But hey, it's not as fun as wanting to be able to eat!
There aren't any unemployed people in Norway - we just give them sick pay instead!
