Until there is more than one, and you can have a group of internets (weird to even say), there will be only one Internet. I don't give a damn how ubiquitous it is. There's only one White House, but using this same logic, we should now call it simply the white house.

No no no. You're reading it all wrong.
This spring, two lawyers, who were a clue to several important patents, including one from 1826 for the first internal combustion engine,...
This could save me hassle and money, as well as be an interesting hobby:)
My debit-cards usually only last 6 months. I'm not rough with them. I take it out of my wallet, I swipe it, I put it back. I'm careful to put it between flat cards (with no raised numbers) so the strip doesn't get abused, but still, the stripe wears down. It's a week to 10 days and a nominal fee to get a new card. Imagine making card backups, reapplying some mag material, and re-magging my own card.
(by the way, it's a real, real-time AIM client, not one of the silly cellphone AIM "clients" that integrate AIM with the messaging subsystem)
What's the difference? On AIM, I send a message and it pops up on the remote sceren. They send a message, it pops up on mine. Same with SMS. If it's pretty on your cellphone or uses graphical smilies or even has warnings or whatever, don't fool yourself to think that the underlying workings are somehow different.
I AM TIRED OF A WEBSITE OF SUPPOSED TECHIES POSTING LINKS TO FILES THAT THEY KNOW WILL PROBABLY BE KNOCKED DOWN. POST TORRENT, POST MIRRORS ON KNOWN DEPENDABLE SITES, OR DONT FUCKING POST.
It's been a long road for the researchers involved, and even the project lead, Hong Wen Jiang admits, "...our initial theoretical calculations were very favorable, and gave us confidence to persevere."
So, it's been a long journey, and no-one less than the project leader is forced to admit that... he didn't think the project would fail?
These fools have stepped in it now. In the US, ISPs have faught to not be responsible for blocking illegal material. The completely stupid ISPs that have volunteered to block will now be expected to block all sites, or be potentially liable for anything they miss.
im going to japan soon and i need a good camera......
Buy one there on the cheap:)
Been to Japan; learned something: You can't get Product X cheaper in Japan than in the west. The plus is that you get newer versions/models much sooner there than the west.
I worked at a helpdesk from 1999 to 2002. I grew up with computers and wrote my first programs when I was 7 or 8, so I'm no idiot. And ebfore you complain about why I was working at a helpdesk, getting $25k at age 19 was a good gig, especially in a low cost-of-living state like Florida.
Anyhow, a gentleman called up and said his network connection wasn't working. WINIPCFG said TCP/IP error. Now, at this point in my career, not to mention my life, I could walk him and any other caller completely through opening the control panel, going into network, tearing down and rebuilding his network configuration including reinstalling the TCP/IP stack, which was the crux of the problem. And by walk him through, I mean, I could do it while reading The Long Dark Teatime of the Soul and pinching a loaf on the pot.
He refused to do it. He swore up and down that I was reading cuecards and asked to speak to someone who "knew what they were doing." I transferred him to my supervisor, who informed him that I was a certified subject matter expert for Windows networking. My boss had him do what I instructed, and it worked.
I suppose the moral is this: Sure, there a lot of helpdesk losers. But have the sense to know when you're talking to one of their gods.
So, if the fine divided.00002 = a person's worth, and you were fined 5 dollars, you would be worth $250,000. While many people own $250,000 worth of property (as in everything paid off), statistically, I'd say it's unlikely that you do. I sure as hell don't. But at 26, I'm working on it;-)

They're certain they're going to see it; you're certain they're not. You're both two sides of the same irrational coin. Me? I'm a real scientist. I believe anything is possible, and, realizing many ancient stories are based upon a real, however romanticized, person or event, I try not to have presuppositions. And when I may have a presupposition, I don't gloat it as a source of pride.

I noticed you used italics in your post...
Just sayin'...
Troll-mods strike again.
Since it can carry 5 grams for only 3 minutes, I can't imagine much practical use, but it's still neat.
Yeah, because things never improve.

/three cheers for weird phrasing

What a tough thing to admit.
Tree@Forest.com is mighty witty.
Just look out for republicans.
Huh. Update: boob@boob.com is also a good choice.
I've used this one for years. Lately, I'm encountering "that address is already registered" more and more often.
I guess I should be a tad more original...

Well, not likely.

Broadcasters argue that this will cause interference on television stations but the FCC chairman says otherwise.
Okay, it must suck somehow... But how?
red glowing lights in front and back what will make it stand out in the dark.
I don't know. What will? The lights? That's my guess.
yeah yeah, .00002 is 2 thousandths of a percent, or 2 hundred-thousandths of the original value.
;-)
Symantic this.
love to beat the trolls
It's not like doesn't have the money. Fining him 800k is like fining me 5$.

800k is 2 hundred-thousandths of a percent of his estimated value of 40 billion.
(40,000,000,000 * 0.00002 = 800,000)
ergo
(800,000 / 0.00002 = 40,000,000,000)
So, if the fine divided
