It's been made clear time and again that whats good for the goose isn't good for the gander when it comes to government. Government insists on having a growing base of knowledge about the movements of its citizens. When those citizens ask for more oversight and accountability of their government in return, they are told those things are secret, war on terror, or some other nonsense excuse of the day.
Just yesterday, there was a story on Slashdot about a family in New Hampshire arrested for videotaping police on their property. Those who dare to watch the watchers are being dealt with more harshly as time goes on.
Yes. He ordered the 9/11 attacks after his bitch mom wouldn't give him a ride to the mall. Listening to emo and cutting himself just wasn't doing the trick anymore.
This leads to a bigger question: does Billy actually get to work with his castmates? Especially on an ensamble show like the Simpsons, its extremely common to have voice actors record their bits at different studios or at different times of day.
When the cast of the Simpsons did "Inside the Actors Studio" a couple of years ago, they joked that that was one of the few times in the run of the series that the cast was all in the same room together at the same time.

For example, I'm creating the front-end for an application and one of the requests was that we build in such things as making sure "male connectors" on parts don't get matched up with other "male connectors"
I never thought the fake cameras were a good idea. A jewelery store owner not too far from where I grew up was held up/burgled several times over a period of about ten years. After the first time or two, he installed a couple of those fake cameras as a deterrent. When he got held up for real, he had to convince the angry man with the finger on the trigger of the gun pointed at his head that the cameras were fake and there weren't any tapes to hand over. If the robber didn't buy it, who knows what would have happened.
He can yell "front!" at any time and have beautiful women available to do his bidding 24 hours a day. He even gets a fair witness included at no extra charge.
Keep in mind that the interstate highway system was ultimately meant to be an efficient means of moving military hardware around. If the commies came knocking, you could clear the roads and send reenforcements to just about any major city.
Trains just wouldn't cut it. Ever try squeezing a minuteman missile onto an Amtrak luggage bin?:)
That is indicative of the greater problem of partisan politics dividing the people elsewhere in the US. With topics discussed at length such as the Patriot act, you can't help but bring politics into the picture as you look at the guilty parties who pushed that tripe into law. With the downturn of civil liberties of late, it makes one pine for the quaint days when we'd argue about the less-threatening DMCA.
Personally, I think that technological solutions (jammers, faraday cages) to etiquette problems (talking on your cell phone and disturbing others) are a mistake, and I feel that people who advocate such drastic measures just to prevent themselves from being inconvenienced are more rude than the people they complain about. You don't like the person next to you talking on his cell phone? Don't ask the owners/government to make it so it won't work -- instead, ask the guy to stop, and remind him how rude he's being.
In that case, its really an avoidance of confrontation. Many people don't want to go up to somebodys face and ask them not to use the phone or stop being an asshat. Especially since you don't know if the person is going to blow up at you or worse. A passive-aggressive approach like this heads it off at the pass. Phone doesn't get a signal, oh well.
It's too bad that most companies are only in business to line the pockets of the top execs this quarter, and damn the next financial period
Too true. The best part of is that these clowns get to walk away with insane severance packages after running companies into the ground that no mere mortal outside of this priviledged class will ever see. I'd love to be able to completely and utterly fuck up at my job and be "severed" with several years salary and other lovely parting gifts.
No pr disaster if things go wrong; they can simply say that it was an elaborate fireworks display!
I'm used to having a bus full of drunk adults (bachelor parties) and rowdy kids.
Damn, that must have been some bachelor party...

He's done them both. (fry and zap)
That's true unless he's observed. Then its either/or.
My question: Of all the characters you've played, which one do you use the most when sitting on the toilet?
Zoidberg. There can be no other.
Oh yeah, just like Leonard Nimoy did when he wore his spock ears out to the bars.

Has Howard Stern or any other representative of Sirius Satellite radio approached you about doing a show there?
Inspiration for the dupe to follow.

Not that theres anything wrong with that...

and with all that put on the customer, some actually have the balls to leave out a tip jar.

Have you thought that maybe there is a possibility the poster was a woman?
Okay, now you're getting into a whole make-believe world here.
Do privacy polices have any real legal meaning to them? Companies write them, I don't think they'll punish themselves for violating them.

It sounds like it's a technology for the power hungary.
And just what does the utility company in Budapest have to do with it?
All the members of a breast cancer group suddenly had to start referring to themselves as survivors of "hooter cancer".

Same deal with the cervical cancer groups. The filters discriminated against both hooter and cooter!

Agreed The real news is that the Inquisition finally caught up with Galileo. I'll submit the story right away!
