    Actually I can't justify putting out money for a highend Mac system when I can put out half the amount for a highend PC and play my games... so yes that is a big part of it.

    Still a nuisance with tech support that was outsourced to India. I needed to speak to someone today at AOL as the AOL 9 spyware scanner detected one of our files as spyware when it wasn't. After 8 transfers, 4 phone numbers, and 3 disconnections I finally figured out why I wasn't getting anyway, I was talking to outsourced tech support in India which kept asking if I could log in even though I clearly explained I'm not a customer and wouldn't install it on my own machine if my life depended on it.

    MS Flight Sim Reworked After Attacks

    Microsoft Corp. will alter its Flight Simulator airplane simulator game to eliminate the World Trade Center, Microsoft officials confirmed late Friday.

    A spokesman for Microsoft Corp., Redmond, Wash., said the World Trade Center would be removed from the game's next release, due out this fall. The introduction will also be changed to eliminate a scene where two people discuss crashing a plane into the Empire State Building.

    Minimal changes will be made to "Flight Simulator 2002." The only change that will be made is the removal of the World Trade Center. A patch for previous versions is in the works.

    But is it up to you to decide that for my children? For someone elses children? If you decide it's appropriate for your kids, then go buy it for them/with them.

    Halo 2, the sequel to the best-selling game on the Xbox - and one of the best-selling games of the past few years - will arrive on store shelves on the 11th of November, and for now, is exclusive to the Xbox, with no mention of PC or Mac versions of the game as yet.

    It's not too horrible. I mean I was able to play CS:Source within a few minutes of it being released because of this. Now I've never given them credit card information (got bundle with ati video card) of any sort but have access to CS, CS:Source, and soon (hopefully) HL2. They offer preloading for HL2 so on release it can just become unlocked. That gives you the release quickly, fixes automatically, and it's pretty simple. Try it before you knock it.
