easy cd 6 stuck you to 6 items on a main menu and you couldn't move the items around.

Now you can put as many as you want, move them anyway, resize them. That was a big seller for me.

Also, you can now attach as many music files as you want to slides, add a bajillion different transitions, add special effects (like so the movie looks like it's playing in a camcorder view finder) or other cool things. you can add great text effect to it.. it really is leaps and bounds over verison 6. i also like the export to divx they now support..

I'm pretty happy with this, although it was a bit on the pricey side (59.99 after 20 dollar rebate at best buy). the dvd builder app allowed me to add images or video clips (quicktime, mpeg1/2, etc) to my project, has a selection of 10+ themes I can use, you can choose your own background, button style from pre-defined themes, move the buttons anywhere you want on the main page, resize the buttons, create chapter menus by defining chapter points. When I created a longer movie, the auto detect scene automatically created chapter points at scene changes which was pretty sweet...

    It's just damn cool :)

LOS ANGELES, Calif. - February 23, 2004 - Napster(R), a division of Roxio (Nasdaq: ROXI), today announced that it has recently become the first PC-only digital music service to sell over five million downloads. The Company also announced that it has served hundreds of millions of page views since its late-October launch and has attracted over 1.5 million basic and premium members. Napster, which generates multiple revenue streams from a unique combination of single and album downloads, prepaid download cards, premium subscriptions and the licensing of its popular brand, is expected to generate at least $20 million in music sales in its first year.

    >>The exceptions are songs marked with the red
    >>Buy Only tag.

No, you can not burn 'downloaded' tracks. Only tracks you have bought. And yes I am a Napster user, before that a Pressplay user.

Here is what Napster says you can do with a download:

A "Download" is a Track that you may save to the hard drive of your personal computer and play back as many times as you want for so long as your subscription is current. You may make an unlimited number of Downloads while your subscription is current. You may copy each Download to up to two additional personal computers that you own (i.e. a total of 3 copies). You may not share Downloads with anyone else. Napster automatically renews your rights to all of your Downloads at the beginning of each Subscription Month (as defined below) so long as your subscription remains current. This means that in order to play any Download after the end of a Subscription Month, you must log on to the Service so that Napster can renew your rights for those Tracks. The Client will count the number of times that you play a Download, including while you are offline, for royalty accounting and analysis purposes.

    You're confusing two different things.

    Napster allows the following:

    1) Subscribe for $10 a month and have unlimited download access to songs, you can not burn these but can download so as long as you are a subscriber. The vast majority of the library can be accessed by download but there are a select songs that are 'buy only'
    2) Purchase a single track for $0.99. No subscription required.
    3) Purchase a single album for $9.99. No subscription required. It's a one time purchase and not tied to anything else.
