No, but the "criminal genius" does know that publicity is detrimental to continued freedom. Small time crooks have a tendency to be stupid, which is why they don't hit the big time.
At last count, he hasn't been a biologist for not quite as long as he hasn't been a developer. However, for all that time that he hasn't been either of those two professions, he HAS been the guy who can pay the bills for those who are.
That's true, but he didn't give any examples, and only expressed it as a possibility. As your post, "likely have" and "possibly banning" are rather vague, don't you think?
Not disputing that either poster and / or both couldn't be correct, but just shitting a guess doesn't do any good here.
Preferences or no preferences, you ain't got to read it (insert not reading article joke here) and you ain't got to post in it. I pass up articles all the time, but don't complain when there are many I have no interest in./. has far too many users to singlemindedly focus on a narrow topic they would all be interested in. Hell, even among small numbers of people you are going to have a disparate array of interests.
FWIW, your core audience is usually much smaller than the "unwashed masses" that will show up as your niche becomes popular. This is one of the things that the internet is great about demonstrating, because it doesn't take forever to occur. You should get used to it, since it's nothing new, and not likely to change.
Maybe you should have a closer look at the gas pump next time you go. You know, at the sticker that says "price includes X amount in state and federal taxes."
Then we should be more intelligent about automating our homes. There's almost always a solution, but you sometimes you have to look for it. You have to go to a little bit of effort at some point. Who ever got anything good by being lazy?
You're prolly missing the point there. Given the types of vehicles in a certain area, they can pin down the relative wealth, so as to consider items like property taxes, vehicle taxes, etc. It's all about the money, not the helping of people.
That's funny, because that is an excellent target market for them. I hope like hell to get an eval copy or several in here to find out how usable they are over time. It's a lot harder to tell what the problems are in a few hour controlled demonstration vs weeks in a production test using your actual applications.
These are fully functional machines. Mostly based of mobile P3s but still capable. It runs the full XP Pro with some tablet extensions. They do have wireless (some optional.)
They're about the same price as a decent laptop but not a low end one. Varies with what you get of course, but eventually the prices will drop as they always do. This is the first "mainstream" generation of this particular item.
Yes, you can make corrections, erase, and even insert additional space between notes, that sort of thing. It was a very interesting demo.
Another important thing to note is that they are not touch screens per se. They are not pressure sensitive but have a special stylus that emits that is recognized.
Actually, the vast majority of these devices are currently tablet only as opposed to screen swivelling laptops. So if you do need that keyboard, keep that in mind.
However, you should be able to figure these kinds of things out a bit earlier in your product launch cycle, right? I'm sure their stockholders are a bit peeved that the product they were about to launch (and hopefully get some payback on the development costs) just suddenly went back for a total re-write. It doesn't sound like it's because it was a buggy piece of crap, necessitating that kind of action, but something else.

You should take a look at a map someday. :)
:)
Also, there are only a very few heavy units where transit to CA for shipping would be more convenient / closer than the Gulf or the East Coast.

Damn...somebody mod the above funny. :)
Is this gonna mess up the East and West Poles too?
So at the equator, the water doesn't swirl at all? :)

That'd be one way to kill a Newton, sure. :)
You can set the TabletPC for right or left handed operation. One of the presenters I saw was left handed and he seemed to have no issues.
Since they (generally) have LAN / Wireless, they're actually just fine for that, too. :)

Not if the meaning is "think (of something) different" as in Apple being different than Wintel.

Nah, the amount of rings were all odd numbers, weren't they?
Ooops!
HA! That doesn't count then! :)
Maybe you should submit an article about it then?
There's quite a few of these in the medical fields as well.
