Looking at the second sentence, I was prepared to come after ya, but then I read the third sentence. There, I only disagree that it would be controversial.:)
To single out a group that has done that as if it wasn't the accepted world standard is silly. Not to defend religious wars of course, as on the whole the reasons wars are waged are pretty pathetic more often than not. It all comes down to power and aggression, with the reasons layered on top of that not truly relevant.
Bulletproof would be a misnomer for anything like a baseball cap. It might prevent penetration, but you still have the equivalent force of being hit in the head with a baseball bat to deal with. There's a reason helmets are made of hard material.:)
Umm...it's pretty easy to "blind dial" on my existing Nokia 3somethingorother that has the traditional (ok, non-rotary!) layout. Top left key is 1, the rest follows from there. It works the same as your average TV remote -- they may be in different places but you are going to find a similar number layout. Easy to work in the dark.
Bah. It's something extra they can throw on top of the existing product. It's not like they are looking to replace digital cameras, but it can put them into the hands of folks who might not otherwise buy one, and it will be useful for lesser tasks. You might imagine your cell phone will go places with you, but you'd have to go to extra effort to carry your (dedicated) camera everywhere...
Given that the prices are actually about the same as I recall them, it looks like the price for an Office upgrade was used the first time, but the full retail product price was used the second time. I'm not sure if it's still the case, but older upgrade copies of Office would work if you had MS Works, WordPerfect, almost anything really.
FWIW, Technet isn't worth a shit in IE anymore, either. With IE6, it reaches new depths of unusability. The conspiracy theory of course would be they'd rather have people call and spend bucks instead of use the free resources. (Yes, MS has free support resources.)
There's a whole hell of a lot of people who need higher paying jobs because as a nation, we have become so in debt through credit cards, student loans we didn't really need, cars, houses, and a whole lot of extra crap you "greeded" yourself into before you realized what a trap it is. So, of course people would rather do what they want to...but CAN they is another question entirely.
Having a product that costs more as opposed to a product that gives a higher profit is, of course, two very different things. A lower margin on a lot more product can still beat a higher margin on less product.
I wouldn't imagine that the US is not currently able to have the occassional look see at the launch site and have an idea when something is going up.:) Don't expect they have too many ICBMs at Baikonur, much like we don't have too many ICBMs at Cape Canaveral.
You'd have a better point if there weren't countless examples of that very thing happening.
10 machines per Windows admin? You've hired some pretty damn ignorant people to cause that.
That aside, I do agree that people have problems because they are sloppy and inefficient.

Wow! They knew Java too?

What would "creationist principles" have to do with the magnetic fields of Neptune and Uranus?
On a less serious note: Is this just some kind of bullshit you pulled out of your ass or what?
Hey, maybe it was a joke. Heard somebody talking about (some damn thing) once who's points were A, B, 4, and D. :)

They're the kind of trees that grow in an assclown's yard.

Why did you bother to sign up for one, if you don't like it and don't use it?
What about Black vs Red Lectroids?
Kosh says it ends in fire. Shouldn't that be enough for anyone?
(troll math) -- or maybe troll tribute math is more accurate.
Bzzt! That had no plot!

Hehe...what's a lingua franca? :)
All politicians are crooks. Where the hell have you been?
"what the market will bear"

That actually does make you a fanatic music collector.
