Question from me is, how did Apple EVER be able to make sales to Iran?
1. Go to Ebay or whatever online store
2. Buy iPhone and Ship to Iran / somewhere close to Iran
3. Collect iPhone and Go back to Iran
4. ????
5. iPhone in Iran
But I am massively disappointed by the fact that Google have erased the Nexus line and expect me to jump up to a top-tier phone...
In Android land, you get the flexibility to pick a whole selection of devices with personal customization. But it also means you get quite the trade-off. Cheap and you get bloat and no-update or Google-tier and you get expensive hardware and get updates. Compare to iPhone land, iPhone only gives you one option, Apple-tier expensive hardware and get updates. After all, if you want updates you need to pay devs to update your device somehow.
Depend on your preference, picking an iPhone might be your easiest and best choice at providing you long update cycle. But if you really want your current Nexus 5X to last a little longer, you could spend some time to install a custom rom still supported after the end of support from either xda-developers or lineageOS. If you donation or pay the devs there, they will be encouraged to continue to support your device, keeping it up to date.
There's Android One but after reading their website I still can't figure out exactly what the hell it is.
You can buy them by clicking on the devices at the website. If not, you could just copy the device name and ebay / amazon it to Australia. It's not that hard if you really want one. Not to mention, they are cheaper than Pixel phones.
Pixel phone on the other hand is still directly supported by Google and get 2-3 years at device launch (1-2 years remaining).
The answer to that, as always, has been that you need to increase the level of education accordingly. Those who write and maintain AIs are going to have jobs.
I'm sorry, but that's a short term effect.
In long term, there will be no one to write and maintain AIs because by the time the AIs will be maintained by the AIs themselves.
This is fundamental danger of the AI the tech companies are trying to create, where the AIs learn on themselves just like humans, completely replacing humans and leaving them out of the loop.
Rest assured, humanity is unlikely to see their true AI overlord before the world ends. This is because the robots will wipe us out of our jobs before then.
You've said about faster processing speed every generation, authentication features kept advancing, cameras advance notably in quality, and you look forward to the next generation (hardware). Wouldn't that be an Enthusiast user? PC users who focus on extremely high-end computing and care for the likes of graphic, CPU and other hardware performance.
The advantage of a PWA over a website is that a PWA works even when your laptop is not associated to an access point, or when the access point to which it is associated is not in turn connected to the Internet.
So basically, a saved website with an auto-update function.
Today, Apple has presented their newest, bestest and most proudly innovative i-product to be placed on the current market.
Introducing the iBoot. With over 12 folders and a complete set of libraries, it is the best iLeaked series product to be ever placed on the market today. With jailbreak and vulnerabilities fix coming soon from your fellow developers, so why wait to commit on the code? Git your's today on Github.com!
The Wii U main feature is that you can play on the Wii U gamepad screen instead of using the TV screen, but it's not really portable since it still needs the console. It essentially created a feature that has no practically use while other console Nintendo made were better. Why would anyone use the small gamepad screen at home when you could use the large TV screen? If gamers wanted living room TV gaming experience, they get a Wii. If they wanted it to be portable, they get a 3DS. Even the numbers explain it.
Also, Nintendo's attempt to put games on Wii U were mostly failure. This is not because the games on Wii U were bad, but the use of the gamepad (main feature) is still an impractical turd for most of those games. So any gamers who got the chance would buy the Wii or 3DS version game, skipping the Wii U version completely. To step right onto the Wii U gravestone, the rise of mobile game market didn't help drive Wii U sales at all. At worst, the mobile game market further reduced Nintendo overall potential new customers.
Switch on the other hand main feature is a portable console that can also be played using the TV screen. At the very least, this feature is a plus compare to the Wii and the 3DS. Here Nintendo did two things right.
Number one is drive up hype with the new game, Breath of the Wild, released on the Switch first. This works well because the game itself is good and game is what drive console sales after all.
Number two is console support for developers. For the first time, Nintendo made it easier for developers to make games on their console. This at least creates a level ground on par with the mobile game market which already has devices support for developers, and it quickest flooded the Switch store with a lot of games for gamers. Now all Nintendo needs to do is to keep up with the flow of game hypes with their exclusives, and they will continue to success.
And yet, I know that if I take the phone, and the laptop, she will either go to work to crack the school firewall on her Chromebook, or more likely get a secret phone to circumvent my actions.
If she managed to do that and earned a secret phone, the she deserves it. You'll never know. Maybe she'll become the next best security researcher.
around 90% of the people wouldn't feel annoyed. They even might feel better at buying the iPad after the ad because it sounds less complex than a computer.
I have seen people (close acquaintances) of all age ranging from, older people, baby boomer wives, and even college kid stating that "computer is hard" or "I don't know what to do with it" today. Yes, today. Some of them doesn't even own a computer at home or own one that is usable today. Worst of all, some of them only use a computer because they need to use it in office and in school. They never use one outside from it.
Sadly even twitter proves it. All those related tweets have around 2k likes, which is not a lot compare to this stupid post with around 500k likes.
This is off topic to your main topic. But about that low speed "bill paying computer"...
Get a linux usb.
Boot the desktop with it.
There, a nice fast pc, quick to get and fast to boot. With firefox pre-installed, you can do all your banking stuff there. Also upon shutting down, it keeps nothing since the OS was loaded in the RAM. It's a good alternative if you don't have the time to fix Windows.
Tell me why, again, I should ever have a dumbphone?
..and to all the other tech nerds post when I say this.

If you don't know if you downloaded or installed the app, you can tell it when your android device phoning home to a few ip like 54.67.109.199, or when it has one of these services that you do not initially have (AndroidAlarmManager, AndroidSystemService, AndroidSystemQueues, ClearSystems, ClipService, AndroidFileManager, AndroidPush, RegistrationService) or when your nonrooted device is somehow rooted. You said you "don't install apps on it except maybe 2-3 apps such as Chrome, Guitar Tuner and LINE Messanger". If so, you could just backup your app data, factory reset and reinstall those apps. It doesn't tell us why your s3 got slower but it can make your phone faster.
Just to let you know there's a hard(ware) brick and a soft(ware) brick.
soft brick = bootloop, software error, recoverable without professional repair
hard brick = cannot boot, not recoverable, it's basically a paper weight what-difference-between-hard-soft-brick
Kevin108: Time for a new netbook! This will be easy, just a netbook with a better cpu than 630 MHz Celeron. I've done this on dial-up before. I'll pick one out of the hundred of results I get.

Changing it to disabled doesn't help at all.
You have to explicitly deny the updater services and executables all permissions.
Did you also disable the task in the Task Scheduler that re-enables windows updates?
Your opinion matters less if you are closer to equator? Now that's just mean to the equators. I demand equal opportunity for equators!

What is Android One - tl;dr devices where manufacturers have committed to give clean android updates to the device. As for how long, it will be at least 1.5 years after device launch.
You can buy them by clicking on the devices at the website. If not, you could just copy the device name and ebay / amazon it to Australia. It's not that hard if you really want one. Not to mention, they are cheaper than Pixel phones.

Please explain to me how guns create gun violence. Specifically.
You need guns to create gun violence. Specifically, a person need to hold and trigger a gun at a human to create gun violence.
Obvious answer is obvious.
In other news, more than half of parents are idiots

just saying
Apple has had to work hard to promote Apple Pay in China due to the popularity of existing, local mobile wallet apps like WeChat Pat and Alipay.
That's a nice pat on the back, but I think it's suppose to be WeChat 'Pay'.
So basically, a saved website with an auto-update function.
I'm sorry, grandpa. But that's Internet Explorer, not Windows. And no, Google Chrome isn't Windows either.

Three years ago. You can already remote your smartphone with an app, doing nearly everything they said they want the app to do.
Did they brought it from ebay?
