I have to agree. Maybe I am just becoming jaded in my later years, but when I see any 'Best Companies to Work For' list, I just assume it is the list of companies that gave the most money to the author/organization that published the list...
NHL.tv allows you to watch all games for a monthly or yearly fee. Local and national games (NHL Network or NBC Sports) are blacked out but you can use a VPN like Unblock-Us or similar to get around it...
It's been a better experience for more than 30 years. I'm old enough to remember the Commodore 64, and pirated software was always preferred over the on-disk protection that slowly destroyed your drive, or needing the 3rd word on the 5th page of a manual, or some strange wheel with codes on them...
3 to 5 years? I was a catcher in little league in the '70s and was taught how to frame pitches. It's been done as long as there have been umpires calling balls and strikes...
They won't show the videos, but they will trip over each other trying to be the first to identify a gunman every time there is some kind of mass shooting...
I couldn't agree more. I used to think that the RHCE was a joke, and anyone could get one, but after taking the exam last year, I definitely respect anyone that passes it. I've been using Linux for 15+ years, and I found it very challenging. I struggled with a few of the things I don't do on a day-to-day basis, but having years of experience I was able to work through them.
Are you thinking of Shamus? It was one of my favorites, but yes, it took a while to load. I would start it up, and then go do something else (like eat dinner), and it would finally be ready to play...
Apparently there were several rows of 'drain holes' that had sharp edges. I found out this was a known problem with manufacturing, and was fixed in about an hour by a repair technician. Of course this was after it destroyed the clothes, specifically some very expensive polo shirts I had.

Along these same lines, I use CF.lumen on my Android phone. I does the same thing, making the display warmer at night. Much easier on the eyes.
You have to love autocorrect. This made me picture a bunch of Chippendale dancers eating burritos...

What county has alcohol freely available? I need to move there...
Considering what flying is like these days, this might be an improvement...
Except the laces keep getting stuck in my teeth...
What? Please put *SPOILERT ALERT* next time.

I though they all ended when you reached the kill screen. What? There are no kill screens anymore?
Of course Rocks uses either Red Hat or CentOS...
> It's also important to keep in mind that aircraft and cars aren't quite in the same class when you're defining risk.
Absoultely. Cars are much more of a risk, since there is very little training and common sense required to get a license to operate one...

They have the internet on computers now? Doh!
Mars is already in there...
I believe you mean Dr. Falken.
And unfortunately, unless you get to the store when it opens on December 26th, the LEDs are the first to go...

After my new Whirlpool washing machine chewed up $500 worth of clothes, I will never buy Whirlpool again.
A 50 foot TV? Holy crap! I have got to see that!
