You are right. Don't ever burn bridges. Walk over to the other side and rape and pillage until they burn the bridge. Worked for the vikings... they are still okay.
Saturns are notoriously easy to steal. The thieves were also just a bunch of dumbest teens that got caught.
But... my car is actually really nice for its age. Only 80,000 miles and it runs like a dream... looks like a damn good too. Also, the car was recovered and they only took a few things from it (didn't hit anything either).
Is my keyless system expensive enough for someone to steal it? Will someone steal my alarm? Is my car-stereo visible outside, and expensive enough to be worth the trouble? Do I usually keep my wallet in the front seat? Is my car much more expensive than my neighbors or workmates? Etc...
My 1992 Saturn was stolen about 3 months ago. There was a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee with leather sitting next to it. The cops said they picked my car because it had no alarm system and so it was easier to steal.
Buy the alarm that will give YOU the best peace of mind. That is the true value of an alarm system.
I know that keeping your room warm was a joke... but I have an Athlon XP 2000 system that, when running, I have to close the heater vent so that my room doesn't get too hot.
Up until today, I thought there was a communist North Vietnam and a democratic South Vietnam much like the Koreas. Wow, I guess I'm wrong. Good job of teaching us world history Fremont High School and UNO department of history.
I totally agree with you. Even still, I should have been modded "off-topic" not troll. What was trollish about what I said? I really did think that the summary was the funniest thing I have read in a long time. If you don't agree with my sense of humor... leave me alone, someone else might.
Guys, you misinterpreted that comment. I meant that you would have to have God like powers in order to keep Windows from blue screening. It was a JOKE.:)
When I worked at IBM there was a sincere hatred for everthing Microsoft (in my dept, in my building, in my town - I can't talk for all of IBM). What I think IBM is doing is kicking the sand in Microsofts face. They are pushing every platform but MS.
IBM fully supports Linux and now they are startin on OSX, I think they really want to get rid of MS. Maybe it is just me:P
I have used Mandrake 9.0... and I have used RedHat 8.0. RedHat looks much nicer, but my damn D-link wireless card STILL doesnt work in Redhat. Mandrake was able to get it right for 3 versions now and redhat is still dicking it up.
What do you think Palladium is? It makes it impossible to see what is in memory. Read up Palladium... it will scare you more than anything else.
Rape and pillage. That is what I do.
Wait til Palladium. When the rest of the world snubs your platform/OS... then what are you going to do?

Moderators... you are stupid. He meant at the same time you were watching cable and downloading p0rn.

I downloaded the initial order quickly. The opinion... took a little longer... now... can't get to anything.
Congratulations people... you just slashdoted the United States of America Judicial System.

Buzz Lightyear had wings.... and they worked in space. I don't think you know what you are talking about.
You forgot to add "froinlaven!"
Where is a slashdot editor when you need one. Taco, can you spell check "froinlaven" for me please?
That is okay... just hook up the microwave drill and you are on your way.
I fried up the brain on my AMD Thunderbird and toasted it with a nice chiante'. **slurping noises**
Anybody have any more information or links that explain how flexible this new material is? Specifically, can it be used to make the space elevator?
