The middle east has been propetually in conflict. We've now established two democracies (well, probably 1.5 so far). The region used to only have death. Now it has both death and hope. Hope?? Give me a break. But it's good to be optimistic, right?
I don't use the rest of the world as a judge for my actions. Sometimes the world is right, sometimes they are wrong.
If you're the only "sane" person in a room full of "crazy" people, what does that make you?
However, after having said that, I can only hope that whatever GWB does will be good for the world, not only the USA.
Well, what happend to the one with a grudge? Is he in Jail at least? I consider this an egregious breach upon your rights, not to consider a terrible waste of resources.
Doesn't that beg the question of why you are looking at this at work? And if it is on your break, you should be able to browse whatever you want, right?
Better yet, get an iBook, a cheap PC, _and_ a playstation 2, then you can have a portable computer, a home desktop, and a respectable gaming station all for the same price as a high-end PC which will be out of date in about 2 months anyway. Of course, I'm not a hard-core gamer.. =)
People seem to forget that Nintendo doesn't exactly have a spotless record when it comes to "handheld" systems.. Remember the virtual boy? That thing was massive! The general perception was that the VBoy was supposed to be portable, and it flopped horribly.
However, having said that, the battery life is going to be a sticking point for me about the PSP. If I can buy an extra battery and swap it in without having to turn off my games, that would be really cool. But, I doubt that would be possible. Oh well.
Robert Deniro. Quote: "I was given [the script] and I just had to do it. I mean, I passed up on the Lord of the Rings as Sauron, [I] didn't think it would do as well..."
No. I never said I like to overreact to a lot of things, in fact, I'd rather be the eagle or lion or whatever that eats the rabbits. =) Heh.. just thought of a joke:
If you think about it, a rabbit is quite an apt analogy... They may overreact to a lot of things, but that prevents them from getting dinged from some of the real threats.
'Google Desktop Search is not intended to be used on computers that are shared with more than one person.'[...]The danger lies not in the machine itself but in the user's failure to envision the full consequences of the instructions he gives to it.
ie. "It's your fault for using it" Sounds like a lot of MS EULAs to me.. Of course, I don't read my EULAs thoroughly anyways.;)
The documentary on the website was very informative and interesting. He doesn't use any ICs or computer chips.. It's all relay switches! _very_ cool.. There is also a bit of toungue in cheek in the documentary making it very interesting.

Who's going to play the big floating eye?
Robert Deniro. Quote: "I was given [the script] and I just had to do it. I mean, I passed up on the Lord of the Rings as Sauron, [I] didn't think it would do as well..."
Yeah, and Jennifer Love hewitt is a small eskimo boy.
I'll believe it when I see it. ;P
I see you subscribe to "the war on terror"

Q: What feeds on crackers?
A: A totalitarianist regime!
Meh.. it sounded better in my head.
That keeps them alive, doesn't it?

Some people take reality gaming a bit too far:

"Dude," said Puppetmaster 2, "it's a hurricane. Put the phone down."
What a coincidence, it's elections coverage on TV...

News Flash: The rest of the World's TV isn't any better.. (Speaking from experience with most N.A. T.V. channels...)
Every MSCE or MCT or MCP I have talked to have told me that NT stands for "New Technology"..
Although, looking at this page, I may be slightly mistaken..

Maybe parents will finally know what little Jimmy is buying with his 500 dollar allowance.
I'm glad we're allowed to improve our cultural knowledge base here in Canada. ;) Time to go download some more songs.
