ok, who says you should be able to have a big house on minimum wage? Minimum is for burger flippers summer jobs, billing clerks at my company, with no experience, start at at least $10 an hour. Its the fact that US companies have to protect themselves from their employee's! Its stupid. I would certainly want to hire indian employee's who won't have the option to sue me after I fire them!

I pay $860 a month for a 3 bedroom, full basement, dining room, fenced in backyard stick built house with 2 stall un-attached garage. It was rated Super Plus when we bought it, and is an 11 year old house. I live in Grand Rapids Michigan (certainly not a small city) If you shop around you will find a nice place!

Mostly the higher frame rates aren't for visual quality, but in a big frag-fest with 20 players and everyone shooting glowie bullets and rockets, that 140 FPS will drop like a rock. The object is to get a system powerful enough to handle these stressing times during game play without screen lag. If you start out at 60 FPS and get into a big brawl, you can easily drop to about 20 fps, and then find yourself facing a wall when you meant to turn the corner. :) Happy gaming!

  7. Check out Paytrust on Paperless Billing? · · Score: 1

I use Paytrust.com. They work by having you change your billing address so your bills actually get sent to a PO box (they are large enough they were given their own zip code so far) They scan your bills in and send you an email when they arrive, telling you how much the bill is for and to whom it needs to be paid, as well as the due date. You sign in online (they have a signature on file) and click on 'pay' (or you can view your scanned bill online) and they pay the bill either with EFT (my capitol one goes EFT) or by sending a paper check for you. They also keep records, so you can see at a glance what you have paid in the past, and they let you do queries by payee, etc. It costs 12 bucks a month, but imho its totally worth it! :)

Fiery makes a nice little box that runs a Linux variant. Has a simple LCD screen on the front, 4 or 5 button controlls, very simple to setup and admin. The better ones have a web Gui to manipulate spooling documents, save them to your own PC, store them on the firey HDD, etc.

Even better, they take standard PC133 RAM, so buy the fiery with the lowest memory config you can get, and stick a few 256 meg DIMM's in there, and you will have an awesome print server. :)

A business, for any number of reasons, needs to keep email resident on the server. You really want sales contacts and messages on an end users PC that he takes home, takes flying, lets kids play with, etc?

But then again, how would I expect a 12 year old to understand that. Maybe after you grow a few more pubes and actually start working in a business instead of your mom's basement you will understand.... but most likely you wont.

All ximian does is mark it as 'deleted' and not show it. It leaves the actual email message on the exchange server (very bad when I want the entire company to use this, and they CANT delete anything). Please someone come up with a TRUE MAPI connector so I can see my contacts properly, and connect JUST LIKE outlook lets me, and I will throw MS completely to the curb!

They use Outlook web based email that is built into Exchange and use Mochasoft through Wine to access our AS400. The machines for end users are 400mhz IBM boxes we picked up for $199 each (including 17" monitors). This is running great for 32 users currently, just be SURE you are on a switched network and not hubs, or you will flood your network bad and nothing will work! :)
