I don't know but when i read No Microsoft products were used in creating this web site. My first thought when I read this was the disclaimer No animals were harmed in the making of this film that always appears at the bottom of movie credits.
There is an interesting story about a man who has been a Canadian citizen for 15 years after moving from Syria when he was in high school. He was last month on his way back to Montreal he was routed through New York's Kennedy airport, two weeks later he was deported to Syria! Only after he was deported was the Canadian consolate contacted and no one has since been able to contact him. The US isn't just trampling over its own citizens rights but it is also violating the rights of citizens of other countries as well. And it will be interesting to see how the US plans to maintain its international support while trampling over other countries soverignty.
I wonder who at M$ was the one who decided to buy an ad for this story. Ah well, the sweet irony of clicking on an M$ ad in a KDE story thus generating additional revenue for/.:-).
I'm scratching my head trying to think to a site other than that hotmail -> preferences -> we're going to spam you now options panel, and with 1.2 that does work. Furthurmore pop-up blocking are just the kind of killer feature that they would want and a change like that will give them publicity and a few of those oh so hard to come by geek bonus points of which they are now entirly barren. Now is the perfect time for them to start including Mozilla code.
Well do they actually distribute and/or sell these programs they take the code from and then not open their sources? If not you're critisizing them for using their own development network. Besides, SourceForge never took rights away from the origional authors.
Sorry the line Source Article can be found in The Sydney Morning Herald didn't quite register on the first read (must of been gaming too long:) Still is it still possible that some paper could get mad about it?
As if it isn't hard enough trying to download the ISOs as it is now everyone who was about to lay off the mirrors just got another reminder 8.0 is out. Thanks a lot/.!
Now this idiot has finally bit off a little more than he can handle and I'm guessing that Google's legal team is going to make short work of him and hopefully put an end to this spree of lawsuits by that moron Robert Novak who owns that useless, cheap, rip-off company Pets Warehouse and...
Eh? What that? What do you mean "I'm being served?!?"
To think those environmental nuts thought the ozone hole was a problem! Now that we have it divided well have it beat it no time!! It's great how that one big problem just because 2 slightly smaller ones, well I guess now that the ozone holes have become disorganized and should be falling apart and fighting among themselves it's safe to go out tanning again, I wonder what that strange rash on my arm is...
Retail CDs will be distributed with a unique serial number with which the purchaser can register in order to receive such exclusives as prioritized concert ticket purchases and unreleased music.
THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT WE WANT THEM TO DO!!!
Added value for purchasing the CD is what most of the./ community has been pushing for for months! The record companies are going to do something one way or another, with this scheme instead of taking something away they are giving something extra. If they give up on this scheme more likely than not they are going to shove some anti-piracy, anti-fair use, anti-consumer DRM technology down their throat. Even if we didn't want this scheme to work this is precisly the type of soft patent that we are trying to get rid of, the moment we start selling ourself by abusing the very flaws we are trying to get rid of in the patent system we are worse than the corporations who are doing it (at least they won't be hypocrites). No we do not want this actually good idea industry to fail. No we do not want to abuse a flawed patent system. We do not want this lawsuit to succed.

I normally despise hypespeak, but this time it's the only language that fits: this is groundbreaking, mind-boggling, totally original. I've seen a bootleg of the pilot (which, unfortunately, the network is holding back) and I promise you this is the most geek-friendly SF you've seen in a long time. Yes, more so than Star Trek and B5, and way past Star Wars. I've never seen the future so skillfully, realistically, and lovingly portrayed. Here is the Official Site and a leading fan site." Is there any doubt in anybody's mind that Fox is paying fm6!!
Hmmm... Lets see 11:21 by my time, I think that would make it 1:21 in Toronto? Yep, I think your company does need to get rid of some of those bungling boobs they have working on their network;)
When I first read the title I was scrolling down and didn't see the bottom of the 'F' causing my mind to decide it was an 'E'. I think you can extrapolate what I thought it said from there;) I remember thinking "sure it's a geek site but can't they at least give us the benifit of the doubt?!?"
"We invented interactive agents. Anybody using his or her own tools (to make bots) is obviously using our technology without paying us to license the server, for example.
So... anybody using their own stuff is obviously using your stuff... but by your admission they're using their own stuff so by definition they're not using your stuff... but you stated they are using your stuff which would mean they arn't using their own stuff... that is a contradiction... and they have to license your server... Illogical. Illogical.

As opposed to when Mickey and Minnie stood up to giant corporations?
Am I the only one that was wondering what the heck this story had to do with Macs and Apple? Damm, I feel so un1337.
Did you have your towel with you?

I'm not sure how the The Sydney Morning Herald would like it if they knew their story was pasted word for word on the front page of a major (?news)site with no acknowledgement given other than a link at the bottom of the text which doesn't suggest the story was copied from there. It's not that hard to put some quotes or throw it in italics like you do for a submission and say
The Sydney Moring Herald just ran a story which included "... "

Now that the pilot is over Microsoft is offering anyone who took part a free copy of the full licence version of the software.
;-)
Hunter says Microsoft doesn't have records of all those who took part, and they should call 0800 676 334.
