    Why should he go out and spend his hard-earned money on a digital audio recorder when simply drawing the sinewaves he hears would suffice?
    It would also be much more accurate. He could superimpose the images over a reference drawing of what he believes the sound should look like, and see which one is more off...

    Because if they say they were compromised they can take down the binaries until they've verified that they weren't tampered with.
    However, if they just took down possibly-modified binaries without an explanation, people would ask questions and require answers they dont' want to give.
    Therefore, currently they leave up the possibly infected binaries so that they dont' have to disclose their servers were compromised.

    However, State of Emergency and Manhunt were quite complete (IMHO) and not very, if at all, buggy. At least not that were visibly/playably noticeable.
    Although, SoE didn't really have a plot, it didn't have to. It was not meant to have a plot, it is a time-based 3rd-person shooter. It is meant to be played like arcade games, 3-5 mins of fun per play. My record is about 1h45min on 3min Kaos mode, so as you play more you get better.

    I don't know, and it's really moot whether or not 2-whelled vehicles were a limitation...
    I think Rockstart probably had much more difficulty with the user-controlled helicopter.
    (The plane which you could fly I don't count, as you could do that with the dodo in GTA3)

    Technically you'd use the following with no apostrophes: Windows driver writers.
    The subjective noun is 'writers' (as there are many of them, you use a plural scope, but it's not possessive in any way). 'driver' in this case is an adjective modifying writers, as in they are writers of drivers. 'Windows' is an adjective modifying drivers, as in they are writers of drivers for Windows.
    Windows must be capitalized as it is trademarked as such.

    Sadly, no variant currently in production at ACME Inc. creates an asteriod-shattering Ka-Boom.

    You know, you CAN use the open-source NV-drivers that ship with Xfree. Or you could use the standard VESA-drivers. So it's not like you are forced to use those drivers. I for one haven't had any problems with NV-drivers.

    He could; if he was talking about video card drivers. He is not, however.
    He is talking about the N-force motherboard chipset drivers.
