Friend computer has advised me that you are not cleared for this information either. Possession of the released information is treasonous and is punishible by death.
What is my clearance, you ask? Asking such information is also treasonous and punishible by death.
At this time, however, the merciful Friend Computer has chosen to give you one last chance to prove your loyalty and patriotism. Friend computer asks that you report to the hardware development laboratories immediately, troubleshooter, as they currently require your assistance.
Please view this as an act of Love because, as always, Friend Computer loves you.
And now some lowercase text for the lameness filter: You're goddamned lame. Why are you so lame? Lame lame lame.
Hello troubleshooter, Friend Computer.
Your attempt to circumvent filters put in place to protect other troubleshooters has been noted and logged inside my memory banks, for future reference.
Please be aware that such activity is treasonous. Your security clearance has been downgraded to Red.
As well, I have a new assignment for you. Please report to the food processing vats at your earliest convenience.
Please remember that failure to arrive at the FPVs in an acceptable amount of time will be considered an act of treason. Failure to remember the directions to the FPVs is an act of treason.
Have a nice day, Troubleshooter
Just wait a couple of years, until noone wants the Doom3 engine, due to one of "Quake4:Universe" or "Lets go back to Castle Wolfenstien Again, I Dont think we Killed Everything Yet" is released and ID can no longer make money off of the D3 engine.
Carmack has always been pretty good about throwing out his old technology to the hands of the public.
Ermmm... There's already a great Vana'diel timer available online. I use it regularly (and will be using it soon to time my RSE runs).
Take a look Here for a Mozilla/Gecko/DOM-Compliant version, or Here for the updated version (sadly, only IE-Compatible right now).
Credits to Pyogenes for the timer.
Anyone on Kujata send me a/tell sometime (AlexisLucia).
And now, the obligatory push for my LS site: The Magitek Army
Technically in this example, it could be loose...
The Casino could be loosing winnings on you, much as a hunter would loose his hounds or a falconer his hawk. You lose in vegas, the casinos loose... when they let you leave with money it is entirely planned. They want you to come back so you can lose.
Lucas has, in effect, created a temporal paradox.
If he is somehow stopped from making this movie, then Anakin will never turn into Darth Vader, and the Empire will never be born.
If there is no Empire and no Vader, then the original trilogy could have never existed, thereby negating two things:
1. Lucas' immense wealth (as well the wealth of Hammil and the fame of Ford).
2. The need for the prequels.
If there is no need for the prequels, 2 things will happen due to that:
1. There will have been no prequels, so/.ers will nothing to bitch about.
2. No more Natalie Portman, so/.ers will have nothing to troll about.
So... this movie has to be made, the alternative being something along the lines of `mv/dev/existence/dev/null`
I'm sorry, I don't believe you. What was your textbook called?
I don't remember what it was called, as it was about 8 years ago that I took calculus (i took it in gr.11, around 16y/o).
The base textbook was a big orange book with (IIRC) either hexagons or octagons strewn about the cover.
My teacher, a Mr. (Frank?) Jewlal, extended the curriculum himself and covered much of first year university. (from some re-bound book from the early 70s, our school had a huge fire in the early 90's that destroyed most of the covers of the books in the math & science departments).
Our marks were not inclusive of the extended material, however he did teach it so that those who could grasp it could breeze through 1st year.
He also taught us determinants, inverse matrices, and orthogonality in MAGOA.
You are correct in the Stats is MFNOA, and I did poorly in that class (I think my final mark was around 80-82, as compared to a 92 in MCA and 96 in MAG).
As for the CalcIV material, we did not do theories and proofs, just applied math (as I said, I went to college not university). Fourier series and transforms were about 30h of class (completely applied).
The schools I went to, in case you're wondering, are MDHS (Mitchell District High School) and RCC College of Tech.
I did none of my homework in any math class, ever. Others in my class did 100%. I regularly received high 90's in my classes, the others who did all of their homework regularly nearly (or completely) failed the class.
It is not a linear relationship by far, it really depends on the person and their ability to solve the problems presented given what you know (given absolutes and learned methods).
By your difinitions of your classes, Calc I, Calc II, and half of Calc III (multivariable calc) were taught in my highschool as OAC (gr.13) Calculus. Linear Algebra and Stats were also taught.
Fourier Series, Calc IV, and Num.Methods were taught in Calc II in the college I went to (after the first three were re-hashed in Calc I).
Maybe thats why so many people failed, I don't know. I had taken most of it by age 16.
Actually the H2 is just a hummer made street legal, in that respect the '2nd Hummer', or 'H2'. Definitely a sequel to the original, and, as with most sequels, inferior.
"Hemi" engines are called such as they have hemispherical combustion chambers, i.e. the top of the cylinder is a hemisphere instead of a wedged plane.
This allows for better placement of the spark plugs, thereby increasing combustion efficiency. It's widespread use today has nothing to do with sequels, and more to do with Americans wanting more power in their trucks and SUVs.
It was originally designed for racing. It has been available in street cars since late 1964, and was used widely in racing predating that.

Why is that? I certainly didn't get invited to any group sex/drug parties (let alone free drug/sex parties) around the time of the AOLTW merger.
In fact, I think that's about the time I slowed down w.r.t. drugs, I mean really, something that distorted can't be real right?
One doesn't need drugs when shit like that is happening in the world...
Phosphorus probably blew their minds: mix bones in boiling urine and you get a flamable white powder. What could that equation mean to them?
Umm... that the easiest way to kill a troll is to piss on the bones of your recently fallen party member?

so many D&D players consider CHR and WIS the most useless attributes, instead bumping up their STR and DEX.
It's not so much that WIS and CHR are useless, so much as that the DM/GM makes them useless...
My first char with a group I regularly played with was a well thought out mage, complete with full background history, motivations, aspirations, etc.
Then our 1st level party met up with a troll and we were annihilated.
From that point on, with that GM, I power-rolled (as well cheating from time to time, but we all know that that's necessary to counter the DM's cheating)
Hey! That's enough badmouthing of the Stonecutters...
It is a good thing that they keep the Martians under wraps, as I, for one, do not wish to welcome our new Martian overlords...
"Earth to Squaresoft...Squaresoft, come in. Square, *listen* to the man!"
Exactly...
Squaresoft was hoping (I assume) that the popularity of FFXI in Japan would just magically carry over to the release in the NA market. It did not.
Sure the game is popular here, but not because of Japanese hype.
First off, popularity is gaining slowly. It has been more than two weeks since this game came out in NA and the numbers are only now starting to raise quickly on the servers. That means there weren't many waiting for release day for the game.
Personally I am hopelessly addicted to this game, so I say nothing bad about it other than that it should have been released earlier in NA.
Here are the reasons I see that the game is doing well:
1. Commercials (They always work, but only as an addition to the next point)
2. Word of Mouth. I told my boss and a few friends about how much fun I was having playing it and they have since bought it (and subsequently become addicted themselves).
3. (This is the reason I started playing it) SOCOM2. I wanted the hdd for downloadable content in SOCOM2. I bought the harddrive, and it came with a game that I wasn't overly interested in paying monthly to play. Because there is no downloadable content for socom yet, I decided to use my 1 month free trial to FFXI. I was hooked in under an hour.
Now, Squaresoft, think of how much more money you could have made had you pushed Sony to release the HDD earlier and got your game out here in NA a year ago...
annotate the trace with "they did it here" and stick it up on the cubicle wall
You could have mentioned that her idea of what would happen is a bit better for your credibility than, say, "they did it here", and an arrow pointing to the cubicle wall...
Along that logic, my great-great-great-great-great grandfater patented patents.
To all you USians: All your banks are belong to me.
