I think this is a bad idea. What make Google good is that save bandwitdh, that is very expensive worldwide. This is why Google search engine is no1 and why AdWords where no1. Its against why the people like Google to use "AdImages". Lots of other people already provide AdImages, If somehome want AdImages, dont need google, we (the consumers) like AdWords because where non-intrusive. Images ARE intrusive, and consume lots of expensive bandwitdh.

I am a windows user, I dont know hot to forece linux to network well, I am actually testing coLinux for the fun factor, but Is dificult under my network-complex enviroment, so I use Ethereal has The Tool to "debug" If packets cross from coLinux to TAP to windows, or dead at colinux.localhost, or whatever... Also looks like Ethereal can be a cool tool to debug game network protocol. I am a engine coder myself (Telejano: a GPL Quake engine) so this tool can be fantastic!
Finnally LongHorn will come with 1 new real feature!
Will be cool If Microsoft finnally implement full PNG support, with all the alfa thing. Its a nice format. Also is a open-source friendly format, so a png based skinning will be good for OSS.

Nope. Actual games where not much scalable, but support very high resolutions.. well... with really huge resolutions the icons will looks unsable, very small.. also the fonts. And will really small resolutions the icons will looks too much huge, with REAL problems of usability. And thats all scalability most games has. Window resolution.
Other problem is some games REALLY want some minimal set of X,Y,Z. Doom3 and Half-Life will need some 3dCard features that will be common, but will stop Nvidia TNT users to play that games. Also Morrowind and Battlefield1942 can run with very old and slow harddisk, but the load times will be a TOTAL FUCKING PAIN HELLISH pain. I have a pretty decent system and Morrowind move here like mud.
So... well.. some code can be writte to optimize features for XY FPS, and you can smartly use LOD and other techniques.. but dont asume scalability will be increible and cool. Most games will work well only for a tight set of resolution, horsepower, etc...
Something is good to try againt the danger, and is a intelectual effort. More money waste in weapons is not a good idea, guys.

Mostly because Windows lack of good command line admin tools historically. Actually has a few, but cmd is not bash, so you have to suplement these..
some people, (I myself too) use bash as a daily basic for Windows, this new stuff can be interesting and maybe usefull for the unsafe windows enviroment.
Most people in the world speak english. Is not hard to learn and use. So, maybe this machine is outdated......I think most spanish at Iraq will also use english to speak to USA and UK people. I am wrong? So this machine is not too much usefull... most educated people ALREADY can communicate each other. English is actually the latin lang of our time.
Microsoft is triing to take over the "standar video and media format" has.WMA If put WindosMedia on all windows european computers will be easy to push-out all competitors, and Hollywood will use that format, Internet Radios will use that format, and competitors will be fuck. Microsoft use the Desktop OS monopoly to force is monopoly in other area (video distribution)... this is exactly what anti-monopoly laws forbit!
