Kinda bored so I tried your HOSTS file engine (x64 version), couple things from trying it out when I pick normal CPU priority in your program, it keeps resetting to realtime when I change tabs or click a button within a tab (annoying) Takes a damn long time (more then 10 mins) to process the validity test on an FX 8350 (only uses a single core)
awk "!seen[$0]++" filename
would be a quicker way to remove dupes
Also I messed up my example, it should be
local-zone: "slashdot.org" redirect local-data: "slashdot.org A 0.0.0.0"
I grew up about 50 feet on the other side of this fence http://ufies.org/~aleith/trans... Every night at two and four A.M., you would have about 50 streetcars slowly screeching in to park then leaving two hours later for the morning shift. http://cdn.torontolife.com/wp-... (that whole thing filled up with streetcars)
Also the Toronto firehall training facilities are down the street on Knox Ave., so you'd get fire trucks blaring their sirens racing up Greenwood Ave. at random hours (all hours).
If that didn't bother me, then bring on the turbines (much preferable in my mind to coal fired power plants).
Yeah, I was thinking about doing that for RDR. I ordered it when I ordered the PS3, but paying more then twice what I paid for the disc version seems a bit of a ripoff:)
That's what I thought when I bought a used PS3, and NO; it's up to the game to decide if it wants to be installed to the HDD (even if it is, it still needs disc in drive). I even had an extra SSD sitting around which I thought would work quite speedily with a couple games installed. Case in point: Red Dead Redemption (the entire reason I bought the PS3), needs disc in to play and constantly reads it while you're galloping around (that was a disappointment).
Games can also choose if you're allowed to copy the save files (say to a usb drive to back them up). There's quite a large list of games with locked save files.
I've been using it a few years now The last release was the 3rd of this month http://treeline.bellz.org/
What is TreeLine? Do you have lots of sticky notes lying around with various useful information jotted down? Or many lists of books, movies, website logins, personal contacts, or things to do? Can you find them when you need them? Well, I often couldn't. So here's my answer.
Some would call TreeLine an Outliner, others would call it a PIM. Basically, it just stores almost any kind of information. A tree structure makes it easy to keep things organized. And each node in the tree can contain several fields, forming a mini-database. The output format for each node can be defined, and the output can be shown on the screen, printed, or exported to html.

On my system if I'm playing at 1920x1080 then it's fine and good for 60fps, but if I enable eyefinity and play at 5760x1080 then that 60fps isn't as likely to be around so faster is always better
open chrome://plugins/ and disable it?
/. did not disappoint, thank you kind Sir (or Madam if the SJWs are circling).
I see a good reason to use spell checking, or if not then what program do you use for spell checking?

1. Hosts will block any host-domain name placed into them as blocked
this works on my DNS resolver, what about your HOSTS file?
(it blocks slashdot.org and tech.slashdot.org etc)

I'm not sure of the minimum in Canada, but I do know my PIN is 8 chars (and no it doesn't work in the USA).
After listening to his Batman & Robin commentary, I'd say he'd be pretty entertaining as a cast member (If you forgive a few stoner rambling moments).

$60 game? Maybe I see the prices in CAD, but it's showing me $80 for the base game on PC.
$160 for the ultimate edition? You can keep it EA.
Without some nice, free content, I doubt I'll still be playing it in three months.
Oh, Don't worry EA has you covered. Only $70 for the season pass :)
Well, until Mozilla removes UserChrome.css because telemetry says it isn't used:

It's a nonsensical sound the main character uses for interaction in place of actual language
I believe I heard mention of GPL v2
Happy to know he got off
Been using it for so long, I'd just assumed it was already an official part of gmail
