Why troubleshoot something that doesn't break? Honestly, just undo the last thing you did. That's all you need for most base installs.

Explaining how these things are dangerous has little affect on the "normal" computer user who doesn't know the difference between a DSL/cable router and a hub, who doesn't know how the Internet works (such as how TCP works, packets, routing).
Or like explaining the difference between effect and affect?:)
Only if we do it be prosecuting fivolous lawsuits, not by restricting the total awardable. It's like the whole flap over medical malpractice insurance rates supposedly driving doctors out of some areas. If we reform the total award down far enough to "correct" the issue, we've then taken away the one piece of restraint on the desire of corporations to completely screw individuals. They have to be held accountable when they fuck up, or intentionall injure someone in some way. Punishing the frivolous plaitiffs is the answer, not capping the awards.
Yeah, I know. That didn't even occur to me until after I'd posted. I'm usually one of the least Yankeecentric (awk?) Americans I know. I just found this image first.
And, since we're picking nits, that's a photograph, which while you could technically consider it a form of map, is at the same time the most accurate and least useful type of map.:)P
Amen. My Help Desk needed a operations monitoring/backup tape/outage tracking solution. I rolled it myself. The outage reports are a bit homely, but printable, and the PHB's are happy.
Amen, sister. And the tiny amount of RAM the installer needs makes it the king of the minimalist distros, while still being full-featured and highly compatible. It's the backbone of my network, though I will admit to using Fedora for desktop. Slack is definately the king for servers.
I need to spend more time in RL, not on/.. I just spent 30 seconds trying to figure out what the heck LOTS stood for. Lord Of Teh Suck? Lettuce On The Side? Lift Off The Scab? No idea.
I'm sure the decades of economic isolation, Soviet occupation, Taliban rule, and then having the living fuck bombed out of them by the U.S. had NOTHING to do with it.:)
Like, "The effect of barnacles on the shipping trends of the 18th century", or "Hitler and Steve Ballmer: A Comparison"? Those sorts of theses? :)

They did, it's called Administrator. The problem is that by default, home installations of XP log in as this.
./configure --with-subscription
make
make subscribe
ad nauseum. . .
But why?

I found a picture of the system here. You may have to zoom in a bit to see individual machines.
See, it's got this ring, and while it's wearing it, it's damn near invincible.
I'm so confused.
SCO is . . .never mind. You get the idea.
Actually putting out a quality product.
Sorry. Good joke, just. . .a bit rich. :)
Is this on top of a remote X display, or in place of one?

Just don't accidentally suck any dick on the way to the theater! :)
That's funny. I tried it. Works on a current, "patched" IE6.
President Ashcroft==Scary as hell
Not to flame, but is there something wrong with your keyboard? :)
Now we just need to evidence of other university mascots, and we can build a case for a Mars Bowl.

Actually, isn't that where most people got the radiation, from the U.S. and U.S.S.R.? :)
(sigh)
