    I turned down both a full-time job and several contract jobs because I have two kids, one who had a serious medical condition at the time - proper group policy insurance was worth waiting for, even at lower take-home pay.

    Many major retailers will let you return the item using the credit/debit card you purchased it with. Cash / giftcard purchases might be problematic though...

    Absolutely hated using Lotus Notes for email, but for replicating databases across a dozen sites worldwide it was a fantastic!

    Was looking for this in the thread, one of my absolute favorites.

    I got to enjoy this move twice in two completely different ways - first as a little kid, where I loved the robots and then as an adult and was able to see what was actually going on...

    There is one:

    App save data is deleted when you delete the app!

    There are ways around this, like extracting an app's saved data from your backup or if you are lucky the app's creators let you export via iTunes File Sharing/etc. But right now, if you want to easily keep your saves, you have to keep the app installed.

    That being said, I would have loved to see Switch handles for iPad and more games from Nintendo on that platform.

  22. Glad to hear it's gotten better. Our 2008 Passat Wagon had a fantastic looking and operating system that gave immediate directions, names and distances on the display in front of the wheel, and maps in the center console, but was DVD based - meaning that updates came every few YEARS and COST $200!!! And yeah, unless you sprung for a 6-disc changer, the GPS DVD took up the CD player slot in the dash as well...
