Of course he didn't mention the company name...
But... Funny thing about social networks these days. LinkedIn. I bet most people on slashdot are in his network. He's only 3 hops from me. So it's really easy to see all the places he has worked.

I've added them to my list of 'don't work for these companies'..:P
The new HD Tivo is not 'prohibitively expensive' at all. In fact it's the same price as your Series2 was.
The OLD HD Tive was 'prohibitively expensive', though.

Sounds like you didn't finish the game yet, since this is explained.
Keep all the songs in one library and organize with playlists on the PC. Connect to shared library of single itunes copy using the laptop.
Problem solved.
I just got a zensonic Z500 for $299, full HD, HDMI, divx, etc and it's been out for well over a year. AppleTV, same price, also HD, also $299.
These are 'consumer' units, which probably explains the difference in price from commercial 'digital signage' products. But, with the proper media server either could replicate the functionality.

Sounds like they do the same thing as Earthlink...
Existing CMOS sensors can record light 1,000 times brighter than their dimmest detectable light, a dynamic range of 1:1,000, while the Rochester technology already demonstrates a dynamic range of 1:100,000.
This chip is also great in that it uses about 1% of the processing power to capture an image of normal sensors. (according to the link above)
Well, the sentence does say '3x3 cube' - the word cube implies it is the same in all dimensions, so you can infer that it is 3x3x3. Hence the final x3 is not really needed.
Most open records laws specifically prohibit the government from asking you why you want the records. If they even ask, they are breaking the law, and you certainly don't have to answer.
btw, i ran the first website about college tunnels, first started around '94.. tunnels.tripod.com.. no longer maintained, but the info is up there for prosperity if anyone wants tunnel plans.:)
The news article and the press release noted that this was the first INTERNATIONAL interplanetary network, IE, NASA Rover -> ESA Satellite -> NASA ground station. Read it again, guys. That was the whole point, that ESA was involved for the first time.
Orbiting networks via NASA Rover -> NASA Sat -> NASA ground have been done repeatedly since the rovers landed well over a month ago.
In general Fink has full binary support, the dev tools are not needed.
Whether or not there are binary packages available for the particular package you want is another matter.

You need the X11 *SDK* (from the XCODE disk, not 'when you install the OS') and the X11 *USER* (from the OS disk). Both have to be chosen custom in two different installers.

It is not 'stupid' of you to go through security with an expired license. You are not (by law) required to provide any form of ID to fly.

Use Session Manager, and never be afraid of quitting again. I can always restore my tabs whenever i quit or crash the browser.
A lot of people in LA are from other states, and still have their old cell numbers. Even people who have been here years, i've found.

http://www.aolsearchlogs.com/ - forums as well. Pretty cool, a little slow though... local zgrep is faster.
They must be defining 'audience' differently than the other sites... i've never gotten an MSN video link or even heard of it.
You would love Garry's Mod http://gmod.garry.tv/ for Half Life 2.
