    I don't like flashing my firmware with unsupported third party firmware. Is that really that big of a crime on Slashdot. Linux is great don't get me wrong but is there even any need for a lot of the features on this.

    Thank god I bought a D-Link. I was thinking about getting a Netgear or Lynksis wireless router but the D-Link just looked like it outperformed each one.

    I had to do something similar with about a thousand or so pages except they were all seperate files. I would concentrate on doing everything one step at a time. What I mean by that is scan all the pages into your computer and then begain making them into PDF files or whatever format you prefer. On my scanner it took about a minute per page so my main problem was just not having anything to do durring the time while it was scanning. Don't worry about this use this time to do something else such as reading a book or have another computer next to you to surf the web or play games on.

    While this is true in the old days of viruses the new ones comming out run without you even doing anything. Take Blaster and Sasser for instance, they both are automatically installed onto your computer if it is left unpatched and you don't have to do anything to get infected.

    I have found that a cheap USB key drive is a great way to keep all of the necessary patches in one place that can be re-written fast.

    I like the Screen Savers but was hoping they would keep Call For Help. Now the Screen Savers is going to be more of a merger between Call For Help and the Screen Savers where they have to dumb down a lot of the questions to try and appeal to both audiences.

    I remember I tried to order a pizza at pizzahut.com and wanted to use my coupon. They have coupons on their site you could use but it wouldn't accept the coupon code for a paper coupon. In the end I didn't want to pay the extra four dollars even if it meant getting up and going downstairs so I had to call in the order.

    I'm all for a boycott. I have in fact been boycotting CDs ever since the RIAA sued Napster. There is no reason why I should have to put up with all of their crap.

    "Every try taking a 17" monitor to bed?" While I am sure you are joking I did this. When my computer room needed new carpet I had to move my computer into my room. I didn't have a desk so I set the computer on the floor and put the monitor on my bed. Thankfully I am not addicted to my computer to the point where I would sleep with the monitor in my bed.

    Right buying millions upon millions of AMD CPUs is going to put AMD out of buisness. Am I the only one who sees a problem with this theory of yours? AMD makes money off of their processors and if they can get someone like Dell to distribute them then they can lower the price.

    Its not that I am lazy it is that I am accused of being a criminal for downloading something I own. I shouldn't have to go through the hassle of downloading a non-DRM version of whatever it is I want and end up with something that is sub-par in terms of quality.
