Yes, we should bitch at M$ right about now, but because of the fact that M$ has been outsourcing XBox's suport to a third rate customer support company.
M$ is not doing the support nor the manfacturing of the XBox, blame M$ of being cheap.
I hate noise too, but there are coolers out there that are pretty quiet.
Ask yourself this, do you really want water cooled PC, knowing that the pump might stop any second and fry your computer?
Let's face it, watercooler's realiabity on a PC is nowhere as good as air coolers.
It's a fake and here is why
on
Apple PDA?

Guys, go download the sayhello.mov video (the middle one) and enlarge it to full screen.
Now Play the video, notice as the guy writes, the "PDA" is moving around (which is normal) but the screen is NOT moving along with the PDA at all (which btw, is abnormal)
Apple is probably the only tech company right now that can create hype and somewhat live up to it. Unlike someone (M$, Intel etc)
iWalk is totally fake, I think it was on/. last time the day when Apple announced iPOD.
Apple will never, never, never release OSX for Intel, I know it would be cool (I honestly would pay at least $100 for it) but that would hurt Apple's hardware sales. (and one of the main reason why iBOOK are selling like hotcakes right now). They might announce LCD iMAC and probably a digital camera.
I know it sucks for AT&T to cap your connection but then again, they are doing a pretty decent job trying to get everyone online after @home had decided to unplug your connection.
They only have that much bandwidth to go around, either you get a 400k/sec connection and someone else would get nothing or next to nothing connection. AT&T seems to doing a pretty good job by maintain a respectable speed for everone during this transisitional period.
But I doubt they will uncap the speed again (why give more if people ain't asking for it) if people don't bitch, so start bitching now!
My understanding is that the US military is renting those satellites from these companies.
I don't exactly see how much they actually make, but honestly, probably not enough to make it worthwhile.
Until Unreal2 and Doom3 comes out, QIII and Unreal engines will still be the best engines for game developers.
But Croteams' Serious Sams looks pretty good too, I like those bright textures.
It's not a flamebit, but the game is not that great looking (especially with the models, they look like garbage).
And speaking of gameplay, the netcode is terribly, the game is laggy as hell even at ~90ms
It is possibly the worst QIII based game yet. IMO, RTCW is not all that great (especially with the single player levels), but the mutliplayer is way better than this.
Probably better protection for the animals. There probably won't be any hunters try to hunt them down.
If I am an animal, I would rather living down under than in Africa, no offense of anything.
I don't get all that much Spam from my email. but I am getting tons of spam from ICQ lately.
At least there are programs to block spam from your mail box, you can't do that on ICQ. Seems like they generate a new ICQ for each messenge so you can't ban them all.
Online will always be serving the niche market, not the mainstream, I mean I rather drive down to the nearest futureshop to get my stuff rather ording it online and have to wait for it.
If oldies don't download music, p0rn, what do we do? paying 40 bucks a month just for slashdot?
I personally don't use any of those crappy portals, Google all the way!!!
Yeah, I think Stanford was going to sue Cisco off because they used some of its technology in their products without their permission
What happened? Cisco got off by providing hardware and service for those techonlogy.

You mean "Lord of the Flies" right?
Damn it, I forgot the new address after the @home shakout...
Again, here is a mirror of the screenshots.

Internet is suppose to be global so you can access all the information regardless of where you are access the data from.
What next? AOL censoring all anti-AOL sites etc? This is nuts.
Do you see a little circle icon beside people's user#?, click on that and it will allow you to set the stuff.
You must be logged it to do that of course.

Oh well, next rumor ->
OK, I take back the fake iwalk part, I saw the videos, looks really, really cool, this is big.

I think they disabled them in IE6 final due to the possible misuse of the "technology"
the military had always been saying that B52 will be flying till ~2050.
Prime example of good engineering, you would wish that software could be like that.
And yeah, the B52 has been getting upgrades through out hte years so it's not exactly the same s those orginal birds.

That's not true, you can always judge the book by cover most of the time.
Good Looking Cover usually means better content.
2462 is from Windows XP beta. You will need XP final to insall these patches.
it would be really cool to include a built in option for 802.11b or a PCMCIA for that.
Imagine that, you can play mp3s anywhere around the house.
I guess I will stick with laptop + 802.11b for now.

the sad thing is, it doesn't, it cost way too much money and land to power any small cities. What about Geo-thermo? Wouldn't that solve everything?.
