So except for Ferrari sitting at the top, reset competition is pretty close. But in two years I expect Honda and Toyota to catch up. Those guys have lots of money. They will start doing that when they get bored of participating and want to throw a billion dollar + investment away, coz after that they will be expelled. F1 regulations are too too stringent with disqualification over the slightest errors. In this Sundays Race Raif S(Micheal's bro) came second, but was stripped of the second place and disqualified coz the brake ducts(which carry brake oil to wheels) were slightly bigger than regulations. The net effect of using those ducts was about 10% increase in braking for first 5 laps and subsequently going on to 70th lap when the brake disks are almost cooked it would be about 1%. Yet disqualification was sudden and swift with no chance of any appeal whatsoever. So you can well imagine how far is Jamming and interference!

These small particles reflect incoming solar radiation, thus having a cooling effect on the earth's temperature. The cold weather experienced over much of North America in the summer of 1992 was blamed on the volcanic eruption of Mount Pinatubo in the Philippines, which released a great amount of dust into the atmosphere.

If you want a concrete example, here it is. TI came out with DLP(Digital Light Processing) tech. It cost a huge lot. And took years of development work . But it has started selling only now when the price of the chips has come down. Suppose there were no patents. Company X could have just taken that design, and would be able to sell the same at a much lower cost(No development costs).

In software things are a little different. In VLSI the costs needed are simply too huge. Just because there are a lot of stupid patents, it does not mean all patents are stupid

I agree with allowing linux distros to include Java, but setting it open source may be good for Open Source community, but certainly a very very bad move for sun.
