The Eyes-On Glasses System is based on Epson's Moverio Smart Glasses Technology, an Android-based, see-through wearable display launched earlier this year that allows users to interact with apps and games.
That technology from Epson when applied to game, users do not put on those wearable display for hours and hours every single day, they only put them on when they play games.
On the other hand, nurses working in the hospitals may end up wearing the glasses which projects infrared lights many hours each days.
My question being --- Would prolonged exposure to infrared light poses any danger on the eyes of the wearer ?
What is the use of complaining about the failure of the school system if we, as parents, don't even bother to teach our own children in the first place ?
The fault of parents nowadays is that we OUTSOURCE the task of teaching our own children to schools.
If we are to become parents, it's our primary responsibility to ensure that our children know how to learn, and how to enjoy the process of learning.
Too many times I see parents throwing their children to school and then wipe their hands off as though it's none of their business what their children gonna learn in school and how their children will end up becoming.
Why would I buy back my old companies even if I can buy them back pennies on the dollar ?
When I sold my companies, I did not only sell the companies. I sold them what I had created, I sold them the years I have invested in those companies, the ideas that I've put in them, the niche market that they've created
And if the buyers fucked up the companies that they bought from me, they are already damaged goods - and unlike Michael Dell, I will not buy back the damaged goods, not even for pennies on the dollar
Same thing with the companies that I have helped created - be it with seed money, with mentoring, or with the connections that I have - when it came time for me to sell off the shares, that's it
I rather put my time in creating something new, or invest in startups that make sense
If I were forced to choose either to believe in Santa Claus or this "anonymous" officer of justice of the United States of America, I rather believe in that fat guy in red clothing - and his leading reindeer with a bright shining nose

Unfortunately, for those without solid math background, they will take _any_ answer appears on the screen, as they neither possess the solid math instinct, nor the knowledge if they have keyed in the right formula or not, in the first place

I'm part of one of these younger generations, and I'm honestly not interested in getting involved because I've seen how much of a raging asshole Linuz can be. He's a great maintainer, but he could be honest and give constructive criticism in less condescending ways. I'm not as experienced as he is, but that doesn't give him the right to be a complete dick in public theater.
I've been in the Linux scene very early, and I've watched contributors come and go
The one thing that I've observed is that it's kinda generation gap
The older crop (age 40+) were the ones who like to take on challenges - and even when they have been shouted down, they still come back again and again, with better and better code implementation, to prove others wrong
The younger crop (age 35 or younger), on the other hand, can't stand people criticizing their code
They seem to think that since it's their code and they have contributed it FREE OF CHARGE others must be happy to accept them as is
What has transpired in the Linux Kernel scene reflects what is going on in the society at large, as well
The young uns can't stand criticism because they think they are too good to be criticized
Those old farts, on the other hand, don't mind criticism, and in fact, many actually welcome criticisms, for criticism only makes them tougher
I know, it's too much a generalization - as there are exceptions - but at least that's from my own observation
This is my first ever submission to/. so maybe it's perfectly normal and I just have no idea how do these things work but I'm as puzzled as you because the original submission said "First Major Release in 15 years"...

... I was doing some reading on India's Mars mission and found two articles quoting the price tag for the entire mission to be $ 83 million.
Yes, you read it right, Eight-Three-Million-United-States-Dollars !
I don't know what NASA can come up with $ 83 Million, but I am pretty sure if NASA to send another probe to Mars it would be far greater than that.
PS. To my Indian friends, can you please share with us how you guys can keep the budget so low?
Since someone is looking for "Casual Racism", I'll oblige.
All power to India for their mission to MARS.
And this greeting comes from an American who was from China.
How's that for "Casual Racism" ??
