    Those Kim propaganda gets worse by the day.

    It's one thing to be effective in conveying the message of a super-leader. It's a joke when they say he can fly, run a mile in 2 minutes and memorize the entire phone book. Quite frankly if your country's leader waste time memorizing phone numbers, you got bigger problems to worry about.

    Without the graphics HL2 would be just any other FPS game. People bought it to see what their video cards can do. The plot and action isn't all that outrageous.

    Counterstrike was readily available anywhere. HL2 itself just can't provide 300-400 playing hours. HL3 would need its own version of counterstrike.

    Even I am alittle fuzzy on all this wireless overlapping.

    Let's say you have 20 people on different wireless networks and they all overlap. And they are all on the same subnet for example 192.168.1.x and they are all going to the same gateway.

    It's one thing to steal your neighbors connection. Is another when everybody comes to a deadlock because the network is jammed!? Isn't this the eventual outcome cause there is not enough private subnets out there? Just asking...

    Right now the game is only worth some moms complain, and Hilary Clinton's time. If Dubya Bush himself put the war on Iraq aside and hold a conference on this game, then you know it's damn good. I'll get my wallet ready right after that.

    For those who have really read the reviews of "Bully". I think at most it would do is match the sales of "RedDead Revolver" or "Manhunt" without enough media attention.

    I have seen exactly 1 SCO box in action in all my life. This thing was literally the biggest door stopper I have ever seen. It was purchased cause one of the employee was too buddy/buddy with a SCO sales guy way back. I must add to the fact that this box was virtually impossible to turn on without some kind of instruction booklet.

    The US government is just a mess when it comes to integrating with technology. It thinks of itself as 50 different entity in each state, instead of 1 big network. Every state set up their own org, registry, .gov whatever as radically different from one another as possible. I am glad there is a paper trail.

    I visited HongKong a long time ago when DVDs were becoming popular. They sold bootleg movies for $2 US all over the streets. Versus the real copies for $30-$40 in US currency comparison. Note, prices might have fallen alot more now, since DVD is now the new standard there over Laserdisc. China is supposedly worse, since that equals to a monthly salary for a freaking DVD.

    You laugh. But AIX is still the cream of the unix crop in the financial market. They have a ridiculous support and warranty policy.

    Pretty much if you're willing to pay, IBM can get you anything. Financial companies make no hesistation about spending money in IT equipment cause they only buy once in a blue moon.

    M$ is a software company who previous outsourced their manufacturing to Wistron Corp in China. You make it sound like Sony is not ready. They are more ready than M$.

    Sony is ALWAYS under production. They are a hardware company with already available assembly lines all the time.

    All this $$$ demand is strictly for insurance/safety reasons. It only takes 1 passenger ship to crash, and the industry will suffer public relations disaster for a decade.

    There is zero room for failure especially when NASA make things look ever so difficult. It's like a road that will bring down the best offroad SUVs, would you feel safe in a Geo metro.

    The IBM Nazis were using systems way ahead of time. People didn't understand punchcard systems till 10+ years later. And getting mad at IBM equipment is like getting mad at a MP40. It's just a utility/tool that anyone else can use.

    I have traveled to Japan, and the people there REALLY embrace high tech. It's not that they want a cellphone, just everybody wants the latest and greatest all the time. The US doesn't have this demand. We are happy with mediocrity.

    Our bestbuy, compusa, circuit city don't remotely compare to the Japanese counterparts. They sell stereos, phones and gadgets that I would dream of seeing in the US.

    Ok when you say they put ALL their resources to the windows drivers, it's a sad statement. Because the windows Catalyst drivers are still an abolute mess. Nvidia is better, but by a mighty small margin.

    What do you mean "did it right"? This game ain't even out yet. How can you judge on vaporware. It's going to have a different aliens flavor but more of the same ole space marine, same shit different title.

    Can't wait till the forums are flooded with driver problems. Time to rack up those Ad space, cause this ain't going to work on 50% of the people's PCs if it demands more resource than Doom3... which to my amazement is still filling up forums with problems.

    ATI and Nvidia killed windows gaming with these nasty unusable drivers and $600 video cards. Followed by new shader libraries every month with blue screens and cheap $2 fans. If I was M$, fix ATI and Nvidia now. Make them go thru a ridiculous certification program.

    You must be new. M$ only "begin" to care when they are in jeopardy of losing #1 or stuck at #2.

    Examples of stuck at #2:
    - PS2 sales always higher than xbox.
    - Google more used than MSN.

    Examples of losing #1:
    - Firefox closing in on IE.
    - Linux closing in on windows.

    When M$ sit on top of the world by themselves, they really don't give 2 shits about quality or you as a customer.

    While you laugh. There is NO health warranty by the cell phone manufacturers for your body. Look at all the small prints of your cell phone warranty coverage. Mine explicitly say "They are not liable for after issued dates".

    The dilemma is... if they got rid of free hosting. Then only those who can afford $$ monthly hosting bills can host. It's tough to shoot for democracy when only people with money can have a voice online. Let's not tear down the tree and the whole neighborhood due to a couple bad apples.
