Or why not ditch the Jeep and just get a Beemer 650i with all the stuff built in?
Who knows, stop complaining. Maybe he wants to build a prototype so he can sell them to the rest of us, or provide the plans for the rest of us. Who knows? If you don't have the answer, stop trolling for M$.
Who cares if working 15 hour days "works"? Sending kids down the coal mines "works" if your goal is to get coal, but you wouldn't be dumb enough to do it would you? Tell management to get stuffed.
I'm as geeky as the next guy, but I'm not going to read some crap just because I understand the lingo. I read the first page and it sounds like a story going nowhere fast. Ludlum, now there's an author worth reading, just wish I had more time to get into it.
I understand the argument about as a whole, but there is a whole bunch of math you can do based on the 2nd law, that makes evolution look impossible. I know it's not as simple as "the 2nd law equals disorder therefore evolution is not true", there is a whole bunch of complex math involved, but you should investigate it before shooting your mouth off.
This will either propell Dell to undisputed leader or be their downfall as the pressures of regular retail margins make them lose their competitiveness.
Here is a link about using wireless mobile at Starbucks. Here is a Wall Street article about it, and a brief intro. Here's an article praising the idea.
No doubt when the Two Towers and the Return of The King come out there will be a super-duper deluxe ultra gift souvineer special edition bundle-pack with the whole thing. Wait if you can!
He is right that Linux is constantly under threat - from closed hardware vendors, from legislation, from FUD, from M$ establishing closed protocols etc. And he is right that bigger market share for Linux will tend to make it more of an unstoppable force.
But I'm not sure if TUX tee-shirts and "advocacy" for the sake of advocacy is going to do much. Linux advocates plod on, and continue to successfully. The distributions get better, the application support better. The whole team is advancing the cause of Linux from all fronts, ok yes advocacy included. It's the whole team which will bring Linux to the forefront, not just burning ourselves out on "advocacy".
Why don't they just make lots of transit lanes and let the cars battle it out. The public transport users get what they want and the car users who are stupid enough to continue get what they are asking for.
The difference in score between this new layout and Dvorak is not statistically significant enough to be able to say anything interesting about it. It's all reliant on the particular scoring mechanism that he has devised, which while no doubt not a bad scoring mechanism, is not flawless enough to be able to say definitively that it is better than Dvorak.
If file sharing is what users want, then maybe the cable companies should subsidise the "super sharers" who are absorbing a disproportionate amount of bandwidth, in order to keep the normal users happy and able to download the songs they want. If they succeed in blocking all the music sharing, maybe the ordinary users won't pay the big fees for cable and the cable companies lose.
I have a datahand keyboard (typing this with it as we speak. I have RSI. The datahand WORKS. The learning curve is actually not bad at all. The twiddler is a LONG learning curve and awful for RSI anyway, but the datahand's keys are basically the standard positions so learning is not too bad. There are still some aspects that make me use a normal keyboard occasionally, it is good to swap (buy the double adaptors).
And the datahand really does make your fingers move a lot less than a regular keyboard, and it supports your hands really well. I would say it is a 70% solution and a good addition for many usage habits. To say it is useless is just plain wrong IMHO. Is it worth the money? Well I do believe it is the best keyboard on the market for RSI, but it is expensive, and rather bulky. Using the mouse is ok, but can be annoying. But overall thumbs up.
Having a Beowulf cluster...
Oh never mind.

No matter how bad a crash you have in this car, all you have to do is press "RESET" and a couple of minutes later you're back on the road.
When you hop in, does the car say "Where do you want to go today?"

Umm, doesn't "terminal" mean final? As in the final velocity reached in the final stage of free-fall?

That's right, you can't speak for everyone. So why do you support murderers who speak for the child saying "I may not exist".
And if there is technology to support unborn children outside of the womb, where is your silly argument about the safety of the mother anyway?
There may be a shortage for part-grown children, but not for babies.
