there is, ESRB rating of AO Adults only, its on very few game titles, mostly playboy calander or something like that, you can search for it on the ESRB ratings website. and of course you wouldnt consider the ratings, the ratings weren't ment for you, they are ment for parents of young children who want to buy their children a game. Agreeing with eariler posts, this rating system would be great if people actually used it.
the only problem is, BestBuy, CompUSA, Borders, Suncoast and other online retailers do not carry everything you can find over P2P. Lets say for instance, You are a new music artist, and you make some really good music and just want people to hear your music. So you share your mp3's on kazza and eventually someone downloads it and really likes it. that guy or girl raves about your mp3s and shares it, and soon you find that hundreds of people download and like you music. Now im not saying that this happens all the time, but you seem to think that P2P is all about copyright violation. There are other legal and valid uses of P2P systems. My favorite being donloading slashdotted objects( whether it be a new linux release or something, or a slick new ad, like the honda cog ad or whatever) using bit torrent.
Agent smith did try to do that by infecting and trying to clone himself from other programs. but failed with neo. SO the only other option was to terminate but trying kicking the crap out them. there are still some basic rules in the matrix that no program can break. like say for instance, your comp can only print out numbers, theres no way you can type a sentence from it, just like in the matrix, you can only do what the machine is capable of doing, so you cant just think and makes peoples heads explode. but you can bend/ break rules like gravity and every single law of physics know to man kind.
Spoiler alert: the following may give something away, dont read if you dont want to know
For instance, when neo goes to save trinity, he flies like superman at near light speed, so when he actually catches trinity, his momentium should have made trinity explode. but in the common super hero fashion, when caught by a super fast super hero, newtons laws do not apply.
viewing with CrazyBrowser gives you the ad, but in the browser window, so you dont get full screen, just full browser. Crazy Browser is like the best IE addon out there. and you get tabs =)
okay, your still pulling numbers out of your ass without providing any sources whatsoever, and you still neglect the fact that most of the money made in iraq goes to Saddam, his weapons and palaces and not the people. Like i said again, why would the UN set up a food for oil program if the Iraqi's were making so much money?
uhh we didn't lose Mogadishu
we lost something like 30 guys... and how many of the enemy did we get? in the thousands, that dosnt sound like a loss to me, It's only the media that made it out to be a loss, but in reality it wasn't.
now i assume when you say Mogadishu, you are talking about the Black Hawk Down confrontation becuase thats what comes to mind when you say Mogadishu.
what?! where do you get this information from?!
think oil?! you actually think the money made from oil goes to iraqi citizens and not to Saddam's weapons programs? if Iraqi people made so much money, then home come the UN had to set up a food for oil program?
a quick look at the A world fact book revels that the GDP per captia is about $2,100 in Iraq and 36,300 in the US, its not even close!
why dont you make an effort and think before you post something blatently false next time.
and what does newer construction have to do with anything? are you going to tear down entire cities and rebuild them every 50 years to make them newer?
unbelievable! Does bush murder his own citizens to test weapons, threaten his scientests to keep quite or else he'll murder their families? the people in iraq are suffering becuase of Saddam!
...but it's this US "We control the world, everyone else shut the fuck up!" action that Bush is doing at the moment that breeds hatred and terrorism.
So we allow the threat of terrorism to dictate foriegn policy, we allow exremists to do what they will on the threat that they might kill alot of people. Yeah, sounds like a GREAT plan to me. I suggest you come back to the real world and find out that there's nothing that you can possibly do to please everyone, and that goes for the states also, there will always be unhappy people and terrorists, but you cannot bend at their will.
lets try to remember that this is not a war on iraq, but a war on iraq's government, who, dispite UN rulings, is developing illegal weapons.
The Pentagon already admits that when troops get deployed, the first thing they'll do is occupy the oil fields of Iraq to prevent Saddam from burning them up, and they admit it's because they want the oil.
of course the first thing they are going to do is secure the oil feilds, if saddam were to burn them it would be a huge enviromental disaster, plus a huge waste of resource. if it were any other country in the US's position surely you must agree they would do the same.
For someone who has such strong opinions i wonder why you would post as AC....
I've actually read this book, i found it by chance in my school's library.
It's about how to show only what you want to show, using statistics. (obviously) but there's also an intresting chapter on how map makers would intentionally make errors in their maps, so that others wont just copy their maps and sell them as their own. The errors, are not lokie mislabeling streets but more like making up small fake towns, or hiding some random text somewhere on the map, something that you wouldnt see uness you knew it was there.
hey im still paying 50 US a month for my ADSL, but i love my ISP too much, they have so many features, and are so felxibe. My favorite being spamassain and automatic e-mail virus checking.
So i guess i cant really complain, but if this FCC ruiling goes though.. I'm going to be rather unhappy. lets face it, Verzion DSL just sucks.
i think its an awsome idea. It's like when subway musicisans put their stuff on cd and sell it to you in the subway. ( i bought Lorenzo LaRoc's cd that way, he plays eletric violin, it's great!)
and what aspect about recording would make it take so long? Record the show, burn it on cd, sell it to fans. i dont see how this could not be done, in fact Unless you really need to edit it, or normalize it or something like that, it really shouldn't take that long. For me personally, I would definitly love this new service.
wasnt it already in the theatres? I saw this movie in NYC on a digital screen. (English Dub) the subtitled version was also avaliable in that theater but not at a good time for me.
Overall i thought this was an excellent movie, I Loved the sound track, and also the sound track to Miyazaki's other movie "Princess Mononoke" I cant wait for Disney to release more enlgish Dub's of his animated films, Disney does a really good job on the english dubs. "Princess Mononoke" had an excellent voice cast.
That may be true and all, but Sun really needs this lawsuit, not only to protect itself but to keep microsoft in check. Say Sun did not file lawsuit, then they are in effect condoning M$'s monoplistic behavior. Its like trying to play fair with someone who keeps on cheating.
It is a very unfair fight though, Microsoft has tons of cash and resources to battle with. If no one says or does anything (ie. file lawsuits) then Microsoft will keep on expanding its monolopy and destroying competition.
If Sun wins this, it would be a big blow to Microsoft and open then door to even more lawsuits against Microsoft, and then evetually we may even get real competition, which is a good thing(tm)
it works well, execpet the battery life is kinda short, but if you run it on max power save you can get about 2 hours on it.
THe best use ive found for it so far is concealed war walking, get netstumbler on it, plug in some earphones and place it in your bag. it even fits in my fanny-pack. You can walk anywhere with it no-one would even think you have a computer in your fanny-pack.
plus, it's a lady killer;-)
acutally you induce a magentic feild with an electric current, you pass an electric current though a conductive material and a magentic feild is prodduced, and vice versa, try this, get a multi-meter and hook both leads together, then pass a magnet rapidly over the wire (works best if you have a horseshoe mageitc, and rapidly move the wire up and down thru the middle of the horsshoe magnet) if you have a strong enough maget, or sensitive enough meter, you should see readings on the meter, an analog meter works best in showing the effect.
that same principal is at work here, except in reverse.
actually its drano and aluminium foil, though i know most people confuse it and call aluminium foil tin foil, but tin has different proerties and not as easy to get as good ol aluminium, and it has to be the dry drano crystals, aluminium and water that makes it really explosive
those who defend their free right to gnutella are not stealing other people's property, piracy and stealing are two different things. when you download pirated material you are not physically depriving anyone of anything, except the the profit that would have been made if you actually bought that material. even then its not stealing becuase you didnt take it away from them, you denied it from them, which is still wrong, but its not stealing.
I think your missing the fact that it comes with an LCD screen, LCD screens arn't as expensive as they once were, but they are still more expensive then CRT's
Towards the end of the article they talk about being able to replace a monkey's arm with a robotic one (by aanesthetizing the monkey's arm) and having it control the robot arm as if it were its own.
If this does prove to be successful, It could open the door to 'human upgrades' where you could buy mods for yourself, like extra limbs. i could see a huge market for this in construction. Though i know there are alot of other field that would benefit from this, but i wont list them all.
now what is all of this about again? i read the description on amazon and it reminds me of the end movie of Metal Gear solid 1 and 2 is that what it is like but much higer res? and on an offtopic note.... does anyone have any idea what the end of metal gear solid 2 is supposed to mean?

hey! dont slam the NY post, what other newspaper can you pick up that can make a pun out of every headline?

as you go down the first column of the peridoic table, the elements get more reactive, so yes potassium is more reactive then sodium
I can see it now, Please, put down your weapon. You have twenty seconds to comply....
