I bought my Wii at launch this year because the first round of consoles generally end up being the most moddable. I have a feeling that I'll have some nice Wii-mod projects in a few years when the next systems come out.
One of the earliest games that ever really freaked me out was Myst. I know, that's one game where NOTHING is out to get you. It was just the isolation of walking around and seeing the insanity of Atrus' sons (who you are really helping), the minimalist soundtrack, the decay all around you... I kept thinking that something was just about to get me.
And when you find creepy recordings in some other language? Forget about it.
It's not always the reps fault that service sucks.
There's a tech support call center a few blocks from my apartment here in Ontario, Canada (looks like jobs aren't only being outsourced to Asia). Though I could really use the experience and the money, I have been informed that anyone with above-average computer knowledge is inelligible. HR wants each support rep to read a script, not think for themselves. Thus if you have any problem not on a sheet in front of the rep, they're going to have no idea how to help you.
I'm typing this on a P4 1.7 with a geforce 2, and I can tell you that there's hardly anything that won't run nicely on it. The only problems I've run into are with the latest Prince of Persia (requires geforce 3 or better).
Trust me, just about everything will run on those machines.
Funny... had a power surge at my house last night and the only thing to get fried was my SMC Barricade. Second time it's happened.
So, yeah, those SMC products are really great for preventing Internet outages...

It's entirely possible that copyright holders are just waiting until the big YouTube payday to sue.
More assets = bigger decision/settlement (in theory)
Holy Crap! Somebody actually knows the words to a Tears for Fears song that isn't "Everybody Wants to Rule the World"?
Apparently Dark Coder didn't do nearly enough coke in the 80s.
Do what the slashdot editors do -- just use the same posts over and over with slightly different headlines.

If there are so many geeky girls out there, how come my CS courses are such sausage fests?
I'm not a picky man, but give me SOMETHING to work with here.....

...is yet another *AA telling us what criminals we are.
