    Go to college. Why do you want to miss the glorious years of beer, women and out of control parties....to attend "Certification Boot Camps" with old farts trying to switch careers? Hahaha...I cannot beleive anyone would pass up college to be a sysadmin....plus, getting your "certs" now and just trying push yourself thru the door won't be as easy, since there are indviduals with much more experience and more education looking for jobs...although they might hire you if you work for cheap...
    Put off coming into the "Real world", it sucks...go to college, get drunk, fornicate, get high and when you're done, get the paper they hand you and look for a job, the economy should be better in 4 years....

ICBMS biatch! Teledesic is looking at the Dnepr, a converted SS-18 ICBM, to launch as many as 200 of its over 900 satellites over the next several years.     We are not licensed by any authority. How can you punish someone that is not bound by some central authority. Insecure software is a relative term...I don't remember taking an"Alan Turing Oath" when I graduated from College.

    You can sue a doctor for malpractice, since he/she is licensed, you could sue a nurse, since he/she is licensed...i.e. they are licensed to provide a certain level of quality caregiving...Hell you could sue a lawyer, a CPA...but sorry, Programmers are off limits

    You cannot, I repeat cannot sue a programmer/company for insecure software, maybe you should just change vendor's if you are unhappy with your product, its the Capitalist way.

    Until programmer's have to pass some sort of a "BOARD" exam, this is just ignorant, or maybe I am.

    IMHO, these are two different things, shoddy programming and trying to monopolize the market, are punishable, or are they?

    Both require some action, yet can a common punishment fix the two? By splitting M$ up, will IIS suddenly be security hole free? I think not.
