The GameCube has the same online capabilities as the original PS2. What the hell is stopping EA or any other company from making an online capable GC game? Certainly nothing in the hardware.
Nintendo is only now starting to learn that they have to BRIBE third-party companies to make games for their system. Sometimes the bribe involves using Nintendo characters or licenses, and sometimes they have to pay 65% of the cost of a development studio and publish games like they did for Square-Enix.
No, you misunderstand. Sticking buttons they fix, but the position of the sensor and resulting lack of responsiveness for the square button will not be fixed.
Retro Studios, founded in 1998, is a wholly owned subsidiary of Nintendo Company, Ltd. Retro is a State of the Art Game Development Studio working in conjunction with Nintendo to bring cutting-edge games to Nintendo Hardware Systems like the Nintendo GameCube(TM).
That will really depend on how the big software companies react in the near future.
I disagree. Nintendo will make enough good games to make the console worthwhile. With that in mind, it will depend on the consumers. If more choose the revoloution, the industry will shift that way.
Unfortunately, it seems game companies prefer staying with what worked in the past and not try new things... otherwise, we'd see much more third party games on the DS
You will see more third-party games. Developers simply can't port their previous code to the DS as easily as they can for the PSP. So a lot of derivative games are coming out more quickly for the PSP. The DS is likely to have more than twice the user base of the PSP for quite some time. Third parties like money, and plenty of them are signed on.
And you have an actual selection of games to pick from, not... Mario64 DS.
Out Now: Mario 64 DS Feel the Magic Ridge Racer Madden 2004 Tiger Woods Asphult Urban Zoo Keeper WarioWare Touched! Sprung Urbz Mr. Driller: Drill Spirits SpiderMan 2 Robots Ping Pals
Out by the end of March: Yoshi's Touch and Go Pokemon Dash Rayman DS Atari Classics
That's 18 not including the Metroid demo or Pictochat. There are plenty of releases in April too. We'll see how many of those 24 PSP games meet their release dates. Gran Truismo went gold before it's 3 month delay. Even Rayman DS was supposed to be a DS launch title.
If you read the fucking article, you would see that the game will be undergoing closed testing in December. The product was just announced.
This is not the case of a character that some random user created that happens to look like Link. This is the developer making promotional material to hype its game that is 10 months from beta testing that happens to look just like Link.
And yet Nintendo's games are infinitely more fun and rewarding than anything Square produces. Also, I would never call games with eye-candy "rewarding" because they have good graphics or lots of content.
As a person who typically dislikes traditional RPGs, there was a time I would have agreed with you. But Final Fantasy Tactics Advanced and Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles (played with 4 friends) dropped the traditional "eye-candy" cutscenes and showed they can make very engaging gameplay.
I have a very short attention span, and these games hold my interest. I have far more respect for Square now than I did 2 years ago.
The buttons that completely broke needed to be fixed. I had thought that Sony was fixing the buttons that jammed for free as that was a defect whether the misaligned sensor was or not.
divergent stereo??? divergent stereo is WAY harder to do than cross-eyed stereo. Many people can't do divergent without mechanical aids (especially with larger images). My mothe, who'se an optometrist thinks that it's almost impossible (compared to cross-eyed stereo)
Years of staring out into space like a complete idiot have taught me to do this very well.
First, get a load of this site that has catalogued F-Zero AX sites in the US that they can find. They haven't found many.
Second, F-Zero GX/AX was made by Sega's Amusement Vision.
Third, you may be thinking of the arcade hardware itself. Namco, Nintendo, and Sega teamed up to develop the "Triforce" arcade hardware which is used in F-Zero AX and the Mario Kart arcade game.
But what if he doesn't need a sexual companion to be happy. Once you are happy, nothing else matters. If the man is truely happy, I'd envy him as much as I envy anyone or anything that is.
My experience has been much different. Real life and even other video games interfere. Maybe this is an actual advantge of having a short attention span. In FFXI I spent about 2-4 weeks playing with the goal of leveling. After that it became little more than an IM for my friends who were hooked.

They are learning.

The DS isn't alienating developers, it is just taking them longer to code games, because they can't port existing code as easily.
When was the last time you got a console that included a game?
Not to turn this into a giant flame war, but I got a pretty good game demo with my Nintendo DS.

They are first party now.

It will matter to developers though. Less time to make the game. Less time to sell the game.
IF Sony decides to do it, which is the point of the parent's sentence that you quoted.
There is a lot of hate for Final Fantasy Tactics Advance from self-proclaimed "hardcore" gamers. This probably why I thought it was awesome.
Heck, even Nintendo published some of Square's developed games (Final Fantasy I/NES, Sword of Mana, Crystal Chronicles).
Don't forget FF 1 and 2: Dawn of Souls.
I know you are being sarcastic, but I agree with your post entirely!
Have you ever seen Link in anything but green?
In the Wind Waker, link is in a light blue outfit without a hat the entire game when you play it a second time on hard mode.
so... Yes

Nintendo of America has it's HQ in Redmond, WA, already.
I suggest a move to Walla Walla.
Sony appears to have admitted that the square button even when not sticky is still less responsive than the other buttons.
It says so here.
The buttons that completely broke needed to be fixed. I had thought that Sony was fixing the buttons that jammed for free as that was a defect whether the misaligned sensor was or not.
You could sign him up for the Spam Fan Club.
Am I the only one who loves finding ads on an old tape? The ads are kind of annoying now, but if you look back in 5 years they will be entertainment.

Then we should stop giving it a title like "equation." That word means something in a hard science.

they probably had to release it this past Christmas if they wanted a decent profit.
