    If, during Trump's presidency, the labor force participation rate rises to 68% or more, will you admit in your book that you are the douche? ;-)

  3. If it were to pass, and I doubt it will, a 15% US corporate income tax rate would likely cause a sharp rise in then a consistent level of corporate tax revenue that this nation has not experienced before.

    In very simple terms: corporations now do everything to avoid taxes and with a 15% rate, many will start to actually keep cash in saving to purchase capital goods and fund future expansion.

    Banks won't like it though because of less demand for their fiat dollars. And we know what kind of power the bank lobbies have.

    Pornography wouldn't be such a big deal if the level of prudery in the US were toned down a bit.

    It seems to me that the more "prudish" societies have a higher birth rate. Anyway, the west has become so open-minded that it's collective brains have fallen out. Oh well, the fallout from that will be for younger generations to deal with...

    Every time I hear these types of stories I make a note of the company and then I shy away from them if I can...and I encourage others to do the same. I don't like boycotts, but I do like "word of mouth" :-)

    I disagree. I do not think a desire, plan or action to make illegal immigrants accountable to US immigration laws is at all wacky.

    In fact, it's a great idea. Just ask Mexico among the many other nations that have strict immigration policies.

    Not sure what you're implying here, but you would have a very hard time convincing me that, somehow, Donald Trump is not an intelligent and decent person. Despite some of his wacky outbursts, he is in no way unfit to be president of the US, and might be exactly what this country needs right now.
