You do have a point; you can't just let people commit crimes. However, at times certain crimes do take priority. If there's someone mowing down people with a street sweeper a hundred meters down the street and a cop is trying to write you a ticket, then that's ridiculous. I guess it all depends on the person's outlook as to when the "criminal" should be let go in the pursuit of "bigger fish". Of course, I may be mistaken.
Sign up as Arafat and put Bush's email as the crush. Who knows, this just may be what this whole conflict needs. They can even broker some peace deal under the table.:)
You are definitely right... Besides, these bastards give you 2/3 of the cup filled with ice, so you don't really get much for drink anyway. And who do they think they're fooling anyway. An 80oz drink is a 20oz drink with the rest ice.
Hey dude. Can I have a ride? I gotta go pick up some cubans. Oh, and if you ever change your mind when you get there, let me know. I might need a ride back too.:)
Wait till some geek gone mad puts one of these in a pillow case and attacks the agents who come to arrest him or even beats a politi^H^H^H^H^H^H to death and get life instead of getting life for hacking hotmail.
Yeah whatever... So how come the US didn't do any carpet mouseballing in Afghanistan. Mouseballs are a hell of a lot cheaper than bombs and they're just as dangerous.:)

So what about those Enron and Worldcom folks? I don't think they used a couple pencils and an abacus. All their doings were through the use of computers. You may have a point here. However, the odds of the feds seeing it that way are pretty much non-existent. Essentially, you stand a better chance of seeing Osama eating bacon cheeseburgers at McDonalds, listening to Britney Spears, wearing an I LOVE NY tee shirt.
Somehow I think the world will start freaking out if the US sends into space a satellite with a laser beam to shoot stuff and destroy it. It doesn't matter if it's to destroy junk in orbit. You already know what the media can do to a simple headline. Besides, what's to say the military doesn't get any ideas from this and sneak some backdoor capabilities into the satellite -- "just in case".
Sometimes when you need a few ideas, you need people who don't think like scientists and engineers. It's good to see what the "average" person will come up with. At least I think so.

Since people tend to do no more than is absolutely necessary, sites are essentially designed for IE because the majority of web users surf using IE. Also, there's the possibility that webserver logs show the majority use IE, thus it would be prudent to cater to them. Of course, this is all conjecture.
Don't get me wrong though, it still sucks. However that's just how it goes.
Wanna get even? Whenever you rent a car and they 'make' you get insurance, make it worthwhile. Run that mofo into a tree or kick the hell out of the car before you take it back. At least be certain your insurance money went to good use and not just their pockets. Whatever you do, don't hit another car, cuz then it gets messy.:)
I knew somebody who was in a room when Halon was accidentally released, and it had no effect on him...
You knew him huh? What happened, did he die a few days later?:)
Here's where it gets ridiculous.

Whenever you purchase (legally) a CD, DVD, VHS, etc., you have a right to make one copy for backup purposes. What happens if your original gets stolen (as one of my CDs was) or gets destroyed in fire, etc.? The backup copy that you have is yours to own legally.
Now not too many people keep receipts for small purchases for long after the purchase. At that point, armed only with a copy of a music CD, DVD, etc. and your word, you'll have to battle a mega corporation which will insist that you are a thief and stole the music. Guess who will win?
How can the little person ever win? Anyone care to extrapolate on this a little.
The RIAA and the authorities will spend exorbitant amounts of money just to find and prosecute one or two people. The hope is that after they make 'an example' out of one person, they can say, "See? We can find you and prosecute you." It's solely for deterrent value, because they're clutching at straws now. Leave the problem alone and it will only get worse. Try a solution, no matter how asinine, and it just may pay off. At least that's what I think. Someone enlighten me.
For people new to building and need a resources to buy their goodies,
here is a pretty good site. They have just about everything you would need (all different kinds of gears, axles, motor boxes, etc.). Everything you wish the main Lego site sold.
I mean, come on, companies offer benefits to their customers reluctantly because it costs them money to do so. Most companies would rather not offer benefits, but don't want to seem cheap.
My question is 'why is ebay doing this?' I mean it's not like they really give a damn about anyone but themselves. So the thing is what's in it for them? Obviously offering benefits is a pain, but they still are choosing to do it. I wonder why....
