    This is why I ordered a copy of this killer movie from Hong Kong the day Miramax said they where going to be doing the US release. Every movie Miramax has gotten its hands on has ended up being ripped apart in re-editing.

    The movie realy is good. A simple story told from several view points using a diferrent color scheme for each one. If you can, watch the original and do not go to the US release.

    You need to hack the digital SLR camera to do this right, but the images you get back are astounding.

    Its not wrong at all. Writting open source software in no way shows that you can write software to user specifications. If anything, it shows the oposite.

    Given that they cant figure out how to turn on encryption, set a password or even change the name of the device I'm willing to bet very few know how to limit connections by MAC address. Whats more several WAP systems given away by ISPs and the like dont even support MAC filtering.

    If your running unencrypted they nust need to download some software to "see" the MAC address you're using. Granted, they would need to want access to YOUR site rathr then any others in the area, but it is very easy to do.

    To "spoof" a MAC address on a lot of cards involves typing in the new set of numbers, nothing more. Many network cards come with the software needed to change the MAC address in the event of a conflict since many small time vendors only use a small range of addresses on cards they ship.

    I know of no one who has "hacked" XPs activation system. However, there are MANY copies of the corp' install ISO images out there that dont need activation since they where intended for the 100+ desktop installs. In truth I use my MSDN copy of the same disk but with my real CD Key since I just cant be bothered to activate all my home systems, not that activation is much of an issue for 95% of the people out there.

    As soon as Linux scales well to 128+ CPUs with full binary compatibility (no recompile) and has hot swap CPU/MEMROY/Motherboard support. People who think that Solaris must suck becuase it lacks a cool interface are missing the point.

    So the SGI systems I had before the iMac where beige and not the purple, teal, red and black that they looked like? How about the old 286 I had with a transparent plastic case, was that beige? Hell, how about the ACER PCs that where purple and black, where those beige as well? Seems that exposure to Apple computers makes you color blind.

    How about you compare it to a GBA when you relize that you can have a 512MB memory card in the NGage with a bunch of games and emulators installed. In fact there is a GBA emulator out there allready. Just transfer games and ROMs over via blue tooth. So you have NO game swapping on the NGage VS removing the cart and installing another in the GBA.

    Becuase, lacking Psychic powers, the phone company has no way of knowing that the customer DIDN'T wander out side of there local area if the signal shows up as comming form the worng tower.
