What are they now, a fucking law of nature? No, MS is a software company! If their potential customers are unhappy with their product, it IS their problem. If you get served a bowl of soup at a restaurant and it has a bloody band-aid floating in it, do you just close your eyes and swallow?
Wow, thanks for sucking the humor out of my joke.;)
The light would get here before the debris, by the way, but since it would include enough energy across enough frequencies to immolate the planet, it hardly matters. There'd be nothing but plasma for the debris to impact, I guess (IANAA(strophysicist(don't you love nested parentheses(I know I do)))).

Who the hell knows? I'm sure the moderator has neither the courage nor the sense to explain herself. Pointing out the misuse of apostrophes(I mean, please! Why would anyone want to waste a keystroke to write something incorrectly) is hardly likely to start a flame war, and I certainly do believe in what I posted. It's one of my pet peeves, in fact. I cringe every time I see an unneeded apostrophe.

I suppose that might have occured to him when he noted that "the world's population was tiny". As in tiny compared to, say, the population of the world now.
So the question here is one of formality of usage, as there is clearly an alternative (I prefer "with whom are you going to speak it", myself). In any case, someone who is inviting grammatical scrutiny should refrain from ending his or her sentences with prepositions, particularly in the very sentence which is the invitation.
So good I just patented it. Thanks, glesga kiss!
Yeah, I know all that. Did you read the comment I was replying to? I'm not advocating anything, just pointing out that Linux for PS2 has been done.
Linux has been available on the PS2 for quite a while now.
How about as a controller for music synthesizers? Seems like this kind of technology could be very expressive.
Easy! Just remove the skin.
Wow, so Sweden will enjoy illustrious company of Myanmar as an internet free zone. Nice thinking, Sweden!
3 to 2 on the Rottie.
See?
I'm not sure, but doesn't the sun's gravity have some influence on the tides?

Pedophilia ha ha funny...
Actually, it just happened. You have seven minutes to evacuate...
Are you sure you don't have a looser definition of "girl" than the rest of us? ;)
Unfortunately, my fine US public school education allows me to misspell separation, occasionally.
and we didn't read the bible in school, perchance. It must suck to live in a country where the seperation of Church and State isn't honored;)
That's the Pledge of Allegiance, not the National Anthem.
Maybe a well aimed rifle butt to the face from a soldier will make you see the difference?
Then it should have been modded offtopic.
where a Beowulf cluster imagines YOU?

Stories like this are why I read /. comments. Sweet!
It's "codecs" not "codec's". Plural, not possessive.
Yeah, I think you're getting it...
