    What are they now, a fucking law of nature? No, MS is a software company! If their potential customers are unhappy with their product, it IS their problem. If you get served a bowl of soup at a restaurant and it has a bloody band-aid floating in it, do you just close your eyes and swallow?

    Wow, thanks for sucking the humor out of my joke. ;)

    The light would get here before the debris, by the way, but since it would include enough energy across enough frequencies to immolate the planet, it hardly matters. There'd be nothing but plasma for the debris to impact, I guess (IANAA(strophysicist(don't you love nested parentheses(I know I do)))).

    Who the hell knows? I'm sure the moderator has neither the courage nor the sense to explain herself. Pointing out the misuse of apostrophes(I mean, please! Why would anyone want to waste a keystroke to write something incorrectly) is hardly likely to start a flame war, and I certainly do believe in what I posted. It's one of my pet peeves, in fact. I cringe every time I see an unneeded apostrophe.

    Then again, the moderation could have been an error. If you use a scrollwheel to navigate in your browser and the focus is on the the moderation list, you can change what you've previously selected by accident before yousubmit the form. I doubt it, though.

    So the question here is one of formality of usage, as there is clearly an alternative (I prefer "with whom are you going to speak it", myself). In any case, someone who is inviting grammatical scrutiny should refrain from ending his or her sentences with prepositions, particularly in the very sentence which is the invitation.
