Who cares if Real doesn't support a platform? They just don't want to spend the money to. But I care when someone (Looks like it's more the zealots that the Apple in this case) somewhat find themselves to get modded up for spreading bullshit and zealotry.

When I mean it's not about the money, I mean that money CAN be involved, but it's not required to. "someone would be willing to code for free" isn't what free software is about, it's "someone may or may not be willing to code for free, but he is willing to release it's code in a free licence". Big difference.

I find it funny that you call Separatists racist, while your post is obviously.

"I was lucky to have been born English"
    And who is racist again?

"and many are idled by unemployment"
Yeah because 8-9% is way worse than 7-8%!

"when this was really yet another payola into the coffers of Quebecers."
Yeah, corporate owner Quebecers. I'm sure I never saw any benefit of this whole mess.

"I truly believe that the fundamental personality trait of most separatists is the same personality trait that drives facists and extreme racists"
And the American revolution was driven by extreme racists too?

"What about the English Quebecors (of which there are millions)"
They can join us, or leave, it's simple no?

    "What about the "ethnic vote""
They don't all vote liberal; it mostly depends if they live in an english or french neighbor. And they can also join, leave, or complain, whatever.

You seem to think that all Quebecers are thinking that the white french man is the only true man and that we should build a nation on top of it: but heh, if you think so, I guess *you* are racist, thinking with stereotypes and shit. 21. Re:just wondering on iTunes 4.2 and QuickTime 6.5 · · Score: 0

You don't understand how linux, X and window managers are working, don't you? To port iTunes and Quicktime to linux, in binary format, they only have to depend on the kernel and X. They don't need to choose a windows manager, they all use a common interface! If they wanted to make a GNOME app (that's stupid, because GNOME is a Desktop Environment it has it own music player), then that's something else... You know, there's flash, acrobat reader and netscape for linux... there's only a few download available, for the architechture you want, and sometimes, I said sometimes, for a glibc (there is some backward incompatibily between releases because of bugs). About the kernel: There's a switch going on from OSS to ALSA now, so I guess they should make two versions or something. But it's nothing compared to the libraries shit you are talking about.

Like the PS2 doesn't have kiddie games. (it may have more, the psx had mary kate & ashley when the n64 didn't) Yes Nintendo's first party games are usually targeted at kids, but the PS2 doesn't have _any_ first party games (except maybe gt3, if I remember correctly), and the XBOX only has a few. You can have "adult" games on the GC, that's the point.
