If it was just 1 or 2 programs that need regular updating, for whatever reason, people would be more inclined to do them. The problem is that there are so many programs that need regular updating, people just can't be bothered.

If more programs allowed you to enable automatic updating in the background like the way Chrome does (that is, seamlessly in the background) I think more people would enable that method. I know I would. And if you don't like it, just don't enable it. There are a lot pf apps I'd be fine with background auto-update.

  11. First off, the only people that would be upset are people that wanted to buy into the nearby neighbourhood and are now looking at higher prices. What did they expect? Of course this is going to happen. Let's face it, the whole exercise in NY's bid was to have Amazon move in. And guess what, a ton of people are going to be moving in with them. Whether they move in a week before the bell or after, prices are gong up and things are gonna change. "Insider" knowledge is not the issue here, but jealousy, that may play a part...

Slight error in your equation. 1080 is the height of the picture. The width is actually 1920 (or roughly 2k) HD = 2k (1920) UHD = 4k (3840) UHDTV = 8k (7680) So, UHDTV = 4x the width/height of HD, or 16x the area of HD

If the employee is doing a good job it will relate to increased sales. Not so sure I am apposed to this, generally speaking.
